Just wanna bring something up. I've seen a lot of people saying that after months the CO asked for documents like police checks, medical etc. Why didn't you guys submitted them in the first place?

My MA told me to provide all the documents in the checklist ASAP to potentially help speed up the decision. We got all documents attached within a month after lodging the applications. Fingers crossed.

It depends on the agent. Some are extra cautious to get nomination approved first then visa. Some want to apply for RCB, nomination and visa at the same time. Direct grant is rare, in the end of the day the case officer will still end up asking something and let you wait for 28 days lol.

Quick question:

With the health exam - Is the immi supposed to tell you exactly what you need to get done?

I know mine was done a few years ago because i got a request for my previous visa... just don't want to spend $350 if i dont have too :) But now that I'm reading that every documents should be provided, I'm only missing my Health check thingy ....

Before my 186 was lodged, my MA asked me to log in to IMMI and obtain a medical Referral Letter.

My MA took note of the reference no of the letter (HAP ID) and included it with my application.

I haven't taken the letter to get the health check yet, as my application has just been lodged.

Whats required:

501 Medical Ecamination
502 Chest X-ray Examination
707 HIV Test.

Feeling very stressed after waiting nearly 19 months direct entry 186 offshore hairdresser both application and nomination received.

Seeing lots of different comments about uploading info including medicals and pcc.

When I applied in Sept 2016 via an agent i submitted all 5 medicals for me and my family costing £900 and 2 pcc for my husband and I. My application was complete and everything was in date.

Yet nearly 19 months down the line everything has expired and despite contacting immigration several times to advise them that all these documents were expiring I was told to wait and if they required updated information they would contact me.

I've seen a post saying immigration are no longer requesting updates and that they are making their decisions based on the info that is uploaded? ??

I spoke to immigration the other day and was told not to redo medicals or pcc until we are asked to by a case officer.

Was also told by immi that if immigration require any further documentation then they will contact me or my employer.

Has there been any grants for applications in 2016 recently? ????

Hi guys

my restaurant is closing for 3 month renovation and that time my employer will pay my salary

do I need to know immigration that closed for renovations work

thanks

As long as your still getting paid and employed through that time I cant see it being an issue. However I'm not an expert.

Speak to your MA if you have one.

Awesome news!

11.4 months though… still so far away for me if my wait is as long as that!
