Hi, Riggers, my case is also processed in team 1 of NSW and nomi still pending, maybe it was going through internal check as well because nearly 6 months passed.. However, I think they're an exception considering immi was probably clearing the load just before the end of financial year. They're so unpredictable... just like the lotto. Thanks Hi Thelaurakate, I think the only risk you have with that is paying for both applications, without knowing if they are going to approve the nomination. You run the risk of losing the application money for the visa application. But if you have confidence that the nomination with be approved without any issues, then you could try this approach with lodging the application before the nomination has been approved.
