Bobj
Dorisvale, Northern Territory, is off my agenda for this year's camping trip... http://www.abc.net.au/news/2016-04-25/man-survives-crocodile-attack-near-katherine/7355800 Have camped many, many times near creek and river crossings, but never that close. @CERberus and @The PomQueen met a bloke (the bloke with the barra) who has a hammock type sleeping bag. He had a croc actually walk under his swag...about 10 paces from where we stayed that time. Cheers, Bobj.

Mr Rowsell was being treated with IV antibiotics, which the health department said was standard for crocodile bites. How many bites do you need to have a standard treatment? Your being a bit of a girl's blouse mate. Just sleep with ya boots on.
Lambethlad
WTF. You would have to be mad or stupid to camp next to any waterway in the NT.

Bobj
WTF. You would have to be mad or stupid to camp next to any waterway in the NT. Easy to camp over 50 metres away from any waterway. I have done it for at least 30 years. The trick is to make sure the crocs cannot climb very steep banks. Cheers, Bobj.
Bobj
I wonder if it was the same one watching us. I doubt it. Two different river systems and crocs are quite territorial. Cheers, Bobj.
