richev
Just got my 189 visa granted, and hope to move to Sydney later this year. When applying for jobs (both from the UK and after I'm in Australia) how and when am I likely to be expected to tell the potential employer my visa status? Suzukiscottie
Tell them up front when you apply. No point keeping it a secret.

Marisawright
It's a good idea to volunteer it right up front. It's going to be obvious from your CV that you're not an Australian, so you want to reassure them that you have the legal right to remain in Australia and you're not on some kind of temporary visa.
