joshnbecci
SA wont asses me on a Migration Skills Assesment until I have 3 years post Qualification My ANZSCO says I only need 2... Skill Level 3 : Occupations at Skill Level 3 have a level of skill commensurate with one of the following: - NZ Register Level 4 qualification - AQF Certificate IV or - AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training. At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above. In some instances relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification. Do i Apply and risk loosing £1000? Barry1986
I have NVQ 2 held it since 2015. Have you checked that a NVQ 2 is good enough?? I got my NVQ 2 in roofing last year and wouldn't have been good enough even with 3 year post qualification. I have just completed my AQF (Australian qualification framework) level 3 in roof tiling and slating. Which will allow me to get a positive TRA assessment. Did you do the job before you got your qualification? If so how many years??
joshnbecci
Yes its enough it can transfer over. I need to take a context gap course once I'm over there. Didn't do it before I started as an apprentice in 2013
VERYSTORMY
You do realise that time worked during your apprentership will not be counted as work experience.

MaggieMay24
States have the right to ask for qualifications, experience, English proficiency, etc. that's higher than ANZSCO, DIBP or skills assessor minimums. If SA says you need 3 years relevant experience, then they won't sponsor you until you have it.
