BB88 Posted January 20, 2016 Share Posted January 20, 2016 Background Sponsored on a 457 with my girlfriend as a defacto Want to change to a new employer who is already a business sponsor and is happy to nominate Girlfriend is currently employed Question Can my Girlfriend continue to work [in her current job] once the nomination process has started for the new employer or does she have to cease working the same time I do and cannot commence working again until the nomination for the new company has been approved? Yes she is currently valid as a defacto on the subclass 457 visa. When I leave my current company who I am sponsored with and the nomination for the new company begins, she can still continue to work?
