Yes - I just saw the same thing on my account when logging in.

Unfortunately not, I am also on the Grandfathered rule, my occupation is Systems Administrator - 262113 so it is on the STSOL.

12 Months, that would put me at June 2019 - that seems like a lifetime away!

I assume this is Systems Administrator? I am also on this occupation for a 186 TRT having lodged in June 2018 - doesn't give me much hope on a quick turnaround

My HAP ID was available as soon as my visa application was submitted.

If their occupation is now on the STSOL but they previously held their 457 visa in that occupation before 18 April 2017, they can apply for a 186 DE or TRT.

@Hex - there are Grandfathering arrangements in place though. Based on the below: Client held a subclass 457 visa on 18 April 2017 and continues to hold this visa or a 457 visa/TSS visa/related bridging visa at time of application OR Client lodged a subclass 457 visa application on or before 18 April 2017 which was subsequently granted and continues to hold this visa or a 457 visa/TSS visa/related bridging visa at time of application: New requirements apply subject to the transitional provisions outlined below: occupation list requirements will not apply the age requirement will remain at less than 50 years of age with existing age exemptions still available, and the minimum period an applicant is required to have been employed in their nominated occupation as the holder of a subclass 457 or TSS visa will remain at two years. Therefore, if they meet the above criteria, they should be able to apply for the 186 either DE or TRT (f they have worked for the same company in the nominated 457 occupation for the previous 2 years). My nominated occupation is also on the STSOL but I held my 457 Visa before 18 April 2017.

Good on you for replying. I reckon you were biting your tongue and re-wrote the post a few times before clicking submit. I cannot fathom why a percentage of people are attempting to abuse the system which causes unneeded stress for genuine applicants and causes delays in processing times. It is extremely selfish.

Thanks, I've been in Australia over 5 1/2 years now so you'd think they have some good history on me already..hah. Anyhow, in terms of the Form 80, should the dates of international travel be up to the point of visa submission, I plan on heading on an International flight soon and unsure whether I should wait until that is completed to fill in the Form 80 or submit the Form 80 with all my travel dates as of time of lodgement? Lodged my application in June 2018. Thanks in advance.

For people that are being approved, did you have to provide Form 80?

Unsure if this has been answered before. When the global processing times update monthly, does this reflect the number of months to process an application that was lodged on that day or from when the application was first lodged? If that doesn't make sense, let me use an example: If the application is submitted on 1-JAN-2018 and the processing times are 6-9 months (I wish) then you'd expect a grant around JUL or OCT (hypothetically of course) Then on 21-NOV-2018 the processing times are 12-18 months, does this mean that is 12-18 months further from today or 12-18 months from 1-JAN-2018? Probably a big unknown with Immi, but thought I'd ask.

@BB86 - you're only 2 numbers in front of me in username. Let's hope we are both favourable on our visa's sometime soon! I've only been waiting since June 2018 on TRT and that is long enough for me already..hah!

Couldn't agree more. It has increased every month since I applied. The fact that it isn't guaranteed to be approved adds to the stress, if it was a shorter processing time it would be more palatable whilst waiting for the decision. Out of our hands I suppose though and all we can do is wait and hope the decision is favourable.
