partnership Posted June 11, 2015 Share Posted June 11, 2015 Will be in Brisbane for four weeks from mid June. We would like to see the barrier reef and maybe do some snorkling. We will have access to a car. Where is the closest and best point to do this from? How far is it from Brisbane. Don't mind doing a weekend. Also any other things to do in Brisbane? Cairns 12 hours above airlie beach? on a bike maybe, but with a car you can do it in about 7hrs, only about 600-650km, did it years ago, drove down from cairns to go sailing for 3 days... will never forget the police with their speed gun in the middle of no where :laugh: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
