Bungo
We did and we bought them all lunch. I am not sure if it is the norm though.
srh82
No, not the norm here - not like US.
Ozmaniac
No, it's not the done thing here to tip removal men. We sometimes tip in restaurants for exceptional service and most people round up a taxi fare to the next dollar but that's pretty much the extent of tipping in Australia. You'll never find anyone with their hand out (literally or figuratively) expecting a tip.
Shellybingobingo
I tipped ours , I know they say it's not the norm but I still tipped them , and I do in restaurants too.
MARYROSE02
I tipped mine $20 each. It's not the US, of course, where they might be paid lower wages, and expect to make them up with tips, and sometimes, they may even 'knock you back' if you make the offer. I guess it depends on how you make the gesture, and if you think they have gone beyond the norm, and you want to reward them for it?
Marisawright
Quick question, would you tip removal men when delivering your household goods? It's not necessary but they will appreciate it if you buy them a couple of six packs of beer.
