Quoll
In ACT whatever it is equates to the ability to read a number plate at 25m but according to one site this is it The requirements relating to vision and eye disorders are set out at Item 30 (page 59) of the document. There are a number of requirements but in essence binocular visual acuity of not less than 6/12 is required. Visual acuity needs to be measured with both eyes open while wearing any corrective lenses usually worn for driving. In terms of visual fields, the document states that a person should not drive if his or her visual field along the horizontal meridian is less than 120 degrees when measured with a Goldman IV 4 target or its equivalent.
