Guest
Aww, looks lovely. Stumpy tailed? Blue tongue? We have a gorgeous blue tongue in our garden. We've made him feel very welcome as he keeps the bugs at bay and eats the snails. I watch out for him.

Managed to catch him before he fell in the pool.
HappyHeart
They seem to be coming out as the weather warms up, seen 2 in past few days. One was avoided by us as we drove past, no doubt squashed by following vehicles:(
WeegieDave
Yeah I nearly stood on one in my front garden a couple of weeks ago. Lots of them about just now!
milliem
I don't mind the skinks, although I had to shoo one out of my sister's house last year. It's the snakes that are all starting to come out of their holes now where I am which bothers me. We have so many baddies here. The lady down the road put 4 in a sack for her husband to drive out to dump in the bush the other night. yeeuch
TheLoadedDog
Why would you want to kill a skink? Skinks are cool. And it's their country. Not yours or your dog's.

Please re read the thread, no where did she ask how to kill it, she asked how to remove it so her dog didnt harm it . Cal x

No I wouldn't harm it. But it was my first and my dogs first encounter with one in the garden.I know what to do next time.
