Hi All

My wife's brother is planning to move to Perth. We are looking into sponsoring them can anybody advise what visas we need to look at and a rough idea of cost. He is moving with his wife and 2 kids who are 3 & 1

Also can anybody advise of a decent reliable visa agent in Joondalup area

Thank you all in advance

Ian

His wife is a primary school teacher who has past one of the age group tra's for wa sponsorship but when she was invited to apply she was told she needed a job offer within 30 days.

I know of somebody else who has been rejected in this way. It's a bit of a strange one as I don't know how any teach could get a job offer within 30 days who is not in the country.....seems like a bit of a con....

Realistically no, hardly anyone is going to be able to secure a job offer from overseas, but there could be somebody already in the country, maybe with a job but not a PR visa and unable to get employer sponsored for whatever reason. I don't think anyone is being conned out of anything.

Anyway no unfortunately family sponsorship is only an option for jobs on the SOL, so you cannot sponsor them.
