Yeah it was me that deleted it (on request) as it quoted a comment that had been deleted but the post could have been deleted on it's own merit as it was suggesting that certain posters might be trolls which we don't really take kindly to either!!

No,im far from easily pleased,and there will always be cases of things going wrong in the NHS,always will be sadly,i never used it myself that much recently,but when i have its been efficient

As it was when they treated my mam for her lung cancer for ten months before she passed away,the care(in her case)was exemplary,but some right wing halfwits would slate it at every opportunity to try and convince us that its totally finished,it isnt,despite this despicable tory gvnmt's attempts to run it into the ground, in order to convince easily led,non thinking people it needs to be totally privatised

 

So they left a debt of 800+ billion after 13 yrs in power,"after" having to deal with a "global" financial crisis caused by capitalist right wing bankers and the like,but the tory party nearly double that debt in a few yrs and its "still" Labours fault,honestly?!,are right wingers all so gullible?!

Oh and btw,wars get passed by parliament and war committees formed from the parliamentary parties,"not" one party,also pfi's were introduced by a tory gvnmt i think you'll find

I hate to tell you this, but people like you who love the NHS so much are its worst problem, because it will never improve due to the screams of outrage from the people who treat it as a religion.

 

Your mother may have got good treatment - and I'm pleased about that - but I know people who are now dead or suffering due to negligence, bad treatment and botched ops. I also know a lot of people - working class people - who have given up and dipped into their mortgages so they can go private.

 

Now, you're going to love this... the Global Financial Crisis wasn't really global at all. It hit badly managed economies hard because they had muppets in charge. In our case Gordon the moron was fixated with making us a nation of debtors, allowed ridiculous self certified mortgages, 120% loans, and stood by as financial institutions warned him there needed to be more regulation. Even before the GFC hit people were wondering where the money to pay for Gordon's spending was going to come from. The moron didn't care, he just wanted votes. His gift to incompetent politicians the world over was to blame it firmly on "the bankers".

 

Like it or not, the clichés are true. Labour ruin economies - they simply cannot do it - and the problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

The tories wanted even more deregulation of the banks,so i wonder would we have been worse off under them?

I really dont think Brown carried out some brilliantly subtle trick to convince all the media around the world that the bankers were to blame,i think world leaders and the media themselves knew where the blame lay,or a lot of it
