VERYSTORMY
What it means is that you will need state or company nomination. The state nomination will give you the required points. So the next thing to do is to check each state to see which are offering sponsorship for your job
JanetJackson
Thanks, Actually this what I wanted to enquire which state nomination fits to my criteria for 261313 (Software Engineer).
Alnaibii
Well, this is a homework you need to do. Check each State list, and see which one will sponsor. You need to hurry, as they are reaching their quota. NSW already closed 190 nominations till 1st of July. In the meantime you can re-sit IELTS. abid
It might sound irrelevant, but its important. If anyone can, please help me on this! I just found out today that none of the states have the skilled occupation (222133-FINANCIAL INVESTMENT ADVISER) on their state nominated occupation list. Is there still any way in which i can apply for state nomination?

Ozmaniac
I think you may have been looking under the wrong code - Financial Investment Adviser is ANZSCO code 222311 (not 222133) and you'll find it on the current ACT list (which is only valid until 23 February - the occupation is CLOSED on the list that takes effect after that) and also on the NSW list (but only for one of the regions). abid
My occupation 222311 is only on the csol but not available in any of the state nominated occupation list! So is there any way out for me? Help !!
