osfarooq
Dear all, I am in the process of obtaining SC-489. I am a citizen of Pakistan. I have provided Police Certificate from Pakistan as prescribed by immigration department handbook. Police certificate is issued by City Police officer. Now CO is saying that i need to provide National Police certificate. But the fact is that the certificate i provided already is National Police certificate which is issued by the Highest Ranked Police officer of my city, where i am legally residing. There is no other Police certificate available which i can provide. Please guide me how can i satisfy CO on above issue. Thanks much for any help. Que Sera Sera
I think the CO's themselves get confused sometimes. Ours asked us for a CRB which isn't something an individual can ask for . Fortunately we did have an agent who was able to sort it. Your CO might just not understand the Pakistani system .
osfarooq
Thanks Rupert for quick response. I already tried this. I wrote down the whole procedure and sent to my agent who forwarded it to Co. But CO is still asking the same that they need National Police certificate not regional? How can i provide a document which is none existent? I am confused how to satisfy CO on this point.
osfarooq
Thanks Que Sera for response. You are right as system varies from country to country. I am just trying to find a way to let my CO know that the document i have given is actually the same document he/she is demanding.
