As we are a family of four, the 190 visa will now cost us $7040 which at the moment is about £4044......... Pity they don't do the £10 Poms any more! Likewise, we are expecting an invite on the 2nd September hopefully, and of course since I originally embarked on the process of getting the Skills Assessment and doing the IELTS the price for us has doubled and then increased another 15%... If I'd have known I'd have processed everything 3 months earlier... Incredibly frustrating! However, we are determined to go through with it so we have to pay up. I suspect it will hit those applicants in poorer countries much more. However, it doesn't seem to have discouraged applicants as immigration still seem to have a full allocation of applications and a processing time of 3 months or more...
