akiralx
I live in Melbourne i never have the heating on more than 19, we have ducted heating, 2 ducts in the lounge, 3 in family room, 1 in each bedroom and 1 in each bathroom, plenty warm enough. Yes, we like our ducted heating here in Geelong, warms the house v quickly, though ours blows down from the ceiling (only one vent per room) - anyone else have this type? I thought blowing up from the floor was normal.

I thought blowing up from the floor was normal. Floor vents are preferable but, if the ducting is installed at some stage after the house is built, it is often more difficult/expensive to go underfloor. My dad installed underfloor ducting but he had a garage under the house (built on a slope) so access was easy.
