Tickled Pink
What do you mean the next process? Work? house? meaning of life?? I think you may need to be more specific to get some quality answers.
MARYROSE02
"The next level?" Citizenship? You can apply for that eventually if u want to. My brother has been here 34 years without becoming a citizen.
scotexpat
Now that i have PR and arrived in Perth, what now? Can anyone guide me to the next process? Well it was bad enough that therre was no fanfare or flags when i registered at the local migration office to say i was here. But i simply dont know where to go or what is expected. We have a rental, been in it for the past year, I've applied for a car loan as i need a set of wheels (nothing flash) I have a TFN from when i was a temporary resident on WHV, but i dont know what i need to do now. Apply for a new TFN as a PR in Australia, apply for health cover i even hear people talking about tax returns but i have no idea what for or why. slightly more confusing than the application process lol
calNgary
There isnt really anything to do. Your TFN is the same regardless of visa,, If you have Medicare cards ,you can notify them as you will now receive full cover so will get a new card. You dont have to health cover, its a personal choice, we havent got any and unless you earn a mega amount you wont be hit too hard tax wise. Hope this helps a bit Cal x
