KIRK AND CO
So you come on here lording it up about being a property investor and you live in a council scheme?HA HA you are a trier I give you that. I do not live in a council scheme but if I did does it make me a lower class of a person or do you class them as lesser beings ? I was brought up in a council house & proud of it. People I know who did the same are very high up in what they do as you grasp the value of money at an early stage so yes I am proud to what I have achieved so if it gets to you look at yourself in the mirror & wonder why I get to you the answer will be looking at you all the best. colinmaclec
So you bought your council house on the cheap after being a long term tenant. Nothing wrong with living in a council area but when you make posts banging on about how much money you have and slagging off people for moving to OZ with very little etc it would seem you think less of people for not having money. I hope mods I have been dignified in my reply.
colinmaclec
I did not slag you off i merely made a statement with regard to some of your previous comments towards other posters and you said council houses in your area are selling. http://www.pomsinoz.com/forum/news-chat-dilemmas/164381-less-then-10k.html http://www.pomsinoz.com/forum/money-finance/33829-who-has-going-oz-10k-less.html http://www.pomsinoz.com/forum/news-chat-dilemmas/140015-money-2.html A few of the posts where you sneer at people for having not a lot of money. You don't see me slagging off people for being short of money.

Guest51810
Nah but seriously its so hard to save up for a deposit, we tried for ages and what we did save up just wasnt enough. We gave up a while ago, just need to stick to renting. I dont like the idea of being stuck in one place right now anyway.

WeegieDave
Yes sales are up, prices up and lending is up. 3 signs to give good reason for optimism and I hope it progresses although I feel first time buyers who earn a median salary will still have a mountain to climb with regard to securing a decent mortgage. Absolutely I do agree but it has always been the same. The trouble is today people want to get on the ladder half way up. 90,95 and 100% mortgages are available and although not ideal with interest rates being so low there are options.
