Timeline Skill Assessment - July 2008 Lodged Visa - Jan 2009 (was then on CSL and was told we would hear within 6 months, 1 month later hubbys job was taken off CSL and was told we wouldn't hear anything until end of 2012) Case Officer allocated - Dec 2010 Medicals - late Dec 2010 VISA GRANTED - Jan 25th 2011 Almost 2 years earlier than expected! Due to being told we were not going to find out the decision until end of 2012, we decided we wouldn't put our life on hold and and decided to have baby number 3. Baby number 3 is not on the original visa! We are therefore in the process of applying for a child visa - another $2000+ (fantastic, not!!). We hope it is granted before we finally make the move in August this year! Stay true to your dream! All good things come to those who wait!
