Hi guys... I've send a complaint to IGIS regarding my long-waiting security check... They just copy/paste the last reply... and only defer the next email to October 2014... God knows what the hell is going on .... ****************************************** I refer to your inquiry concerning any security assessment that may be required for this visa application. This office is the Office of the Inspector General of Intelligence and Security (OIGIS) and we do not process visa applications or make security assessments. We do, however, oversee the agency that conducts security assessments if one is required as part of the application process. The Australian Security Intelligence Organisation (ASIO) is the agency responsible for conducting security assessments. We contact ASIO for information about visa applications to check ASIO’s handling of any security assessment associated with the application. We are able to check whether or not ASIO is acting unreasonably or has made a processing error but we are not able to direct ASIO to change the priority of a case, or make the process quicker for a particular applicant. Only the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) can do this. I have now conducted an inquiry into this case and advise that there is no unexplained delay, illegality or impropriety by ASIO affecting this case. The application appears to be progressing through expected channels and there are no grounds for any further action by this office at this stage. I understand that this visa application was lodged some time ago, and more than 12 months has now elapsed without finalisation. However, many other applicants are also experiencing similar delays. Please note that the length of time taken to process the visa is not necessarily indicative of the outcome of the application. You should also note that, in the experience of this office, timeframes advised on the DIBP website for the processing of visa applications are a guide only. You should maintain contact with the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) for updates regarding the status of this visa application. If you have not received an outcome for the visa application by October 2014 then you may contact this office again for another inquiry.

Dear Friends, Appologies if the Red colour iritated your eyes. Please don't go wrong. I really use your infirmation in all the areas and I am sure everyone else does too. But my point of view was for everyone's sake in present and in the future, It is better to have different topics and it would be easier to follow for all of us. If for exmple someone wants to know more about How much money he can take easily can refer to the specific topic and he doesn't need to search 1606 pages.... As you can see I created topic for Sublcass 175, Group5 as group 5 cases almost hold for more than 5 year, we share our process there So it would be easier to follow the cases with same stream. In addition, There is a good Persian Forum regarding the Migration to Australia with different topics for example for accomodation, quarantine, education, ielts,.... with subdivisions which is easy to manage and follow. As you see in my signature I applied for 175. We haven't complaint against immigration yet.... IGIS/ASIO suggested we can address ombudsman who oversee the immigration. But I am not sure if this is the good idea or not... But we are very seek of immi to be honest. I am from HR country....

This Topic is about "Application from HR countries". And I as an applicant from HR country really want to follow the issues, suggestion, duration of security check in this regards. But recent pages are about landing, ticket, money,accomodation .... . This is the reason for creating this TOPIC as written in First page of this topic; "Hi, I thought we should have thread for HR applicants time line because their time lines are radically different from non HR applicants because of their lengthy internal/external checks". yes when we decided to take further actions (18 months ago), our case been allocated Case Officer, therefore we didn't want to cancel the application. But since past 18 months we haven't heard anything... we emailed 4-5 times... all the answer were "this appllication is under routine check" which I assume is on security check. 8 months ago We asked our lawyer to send complaint to AGIS/ASIO, they said, there is no problem and it is under routine procedures, if you haven't heard by April e-mail us again. OUr Lawyer reckons we need to wait till 15th April and if nothing happend we will shoot another e-mail. But I hope we hear good news soon. THanks for your suggestions. :ssign16::policeman:
