  2. Hi zippy! Sorry i know this is an old thread and u now have your visa. However i have just lodged my nsw 190 (2 months ago) and had the same query as u above about how to correctly input the tra aqf into the eoi. I have been invited against what i did input and im waiting on a grant now but hoping i did it right. I put: Qualification: AQF 3 Course: Automotive Body Repair Institute: Vetasses on behalf of tra date from : i put the date i lodged my skills assessment date to: date on certificate i am worried i may have inputted this info wrong so just wondering if you visa was granted based on what you inputted above? If you still use this forum and could be so kind as to reply that would be great. Thank you
  3. Hi Guys, i know this is an old thread but i also saw that most of you have your visas now I have the same question as @Rara82 above - 1.) When an applicant passes the practical assessment with Vetassess and they receive an AQF certificate III (based on 3 years skilled work experience , can this then be used to claim 10 points under the educational qualifications, where it states 'You have completed a trade qualification for award by an Australian educational institution.' or 'You have attained a qualification or award recognised by the relevant assessing authority in determining your skills for your nominated occupation.? 2.) Also which option do we select from 'a trade qualification for award by an Australian educational institution' as we were awarded the AQF III OR 'You have attained a qualification or award recognised by the relevant assessing authority in determining your skills for your nominated occupation'? What did you all opt with for this? Please help if any of you are still active, we have just ben invited to apply and I want to be sure I have everything correct before continuing. It seems like its still a very grey area. Thank you!
  4. Thanks so much @wrussell for getting back to me, i was very worried about this. Much appreciated
  5. Hi guys Newbie here. I was hoping someone could help as i cant seem to get a straight answer from a migration agent. I was invited for nsw 190 two weeks ago and i am about ready to lodge. For context i had 70+5 points, onshore and i claimed 1 years experience (i had 2.5 years but less than 3 years so only claimed 5 points for 1 year) My question is at lodgment stage when completing the work experience section it asks two questions- is employment relevant to occupation? And do you wish to claim points for it? Is it ok to tick yes its relevant experience but NO i dont want to claim points for one period? As long as by ticking no i still meet the one year skilled employment experience i claimed points for? The reason i ask is because one period of employment was left on bad terms and as such if employer gets a verification call he likely wont cooperate. I also never got a contract/reference from them. I only have payslips and bank statements. So i would rather tick no to claiming points for this experience if that is allowed? Anybody know? Thanks
