You can leave your employer. There is no risk to your PR after its granted unless u have done something very serious with your present employer like a major compliance breach etc.

@M A Z I understand from my agent that this requirement is last stage before they finalize the application. you might hear the good news soon mate I also submitted state 190 nomination today and paid fees besides ongoing 186 DE application. Thanks to the sentiment nowadays!!

@Ozzy_man10 thanks for the suggestions mate, just to clarify, my nomination has not been approved yet. My agent says that usually both nomination and visa get approved together. I did recieve a s56 request in May, 2020, so I know a CO has picked up my application. Still confused on what should I do with 190 invite

@devProgrammer thanks for the suggestions! I had applied in NSW for ICT BA position ( I have positive skill assessment). On the company providing information of financials, I understand from my lawyer that the company financials etc. are quite strong, so I should be good in terms of nomination requirements. Can I apply for 190 too along with existing 186 DE application? Any one has any idea on what happens in this case?

Friends, I got an 190 state invite today. I wanted to take your advice if i should ignore the 190 invite or not. What are rejection chances for 186 DE and which visa is better. Seeing that I have already applied for 186 DE, I am not planning to accept an 190 invite, but want to take everyone's opinion. I will also take down the EOI. Thanks in advance for the advise.

@donkeyoz Congratulations!! Can you share anything with us that your agent or you did which helped in expedited approval of DE or can it be that education and healthcare industry might be getting prioritized right now?

@horsemad1976 First of all congratulations on the expedited approval of your visa . Not sure if you shared earlier but can you help in sharing what were the best practices by you or your agent which helped in expedited processing of 186 DE? thank-you!

You can pay all visa costs but employer as the above posts also suggests has to pay skill levy and nomination fees. It will be recommended if the migration agent fees is also paid by employer but is not mandatory.
