    Lovely thanks! I didn’t think the 600 visitor visa required you to leave every three months !?!? I thought If you get granted 12 months you get to stay 12 months

    Yea I just mentioned this so maybe you could find a more helpful thread. As the U.K. only processes visas for European countries, that’s all. I was just trying to be helpful

    Went for my medical today for the 309/100 and for my 600 which I’m applying for next week. Just getting docs together for it. Were planning on flying out to Sydney on the 5th I’m just praying we get a 12 month 600. Once the medical is uploaded that’s everything ‘front’ loaded for my 309/100 which I applied for in July. Let’s hope no RFI!! For all those with 309/100 grants now many of you kept uploading new documents I.e new bank statements etc congrats to all who have their grants

    Nice one! What kind of things did you upload out of interest. I’m planning on uploading. letter from me outlining my stay letter from my in laws advising I am staying with them and they are going to support me letter from my fiancé advising that he is going to worn in Aus to support me and my daughter (fiancé and daughter Aus citizens) bank statement showing funds £ i wonder if that’s enough I don’t want to complicate things

    Hey Lovely Im just in the process of applying for the 600. Just a quick question. Where did you upload your savings/credit card bits. The document section on mine only has two tabs One is required - Travel Document, which is my passport Then the recommend - ‘exceptional reasons for extended stay in Australia as a visitor (beyond 12 months) there isn’t anywhere to generally upload documents.

    The ONLY way I could track it was to go though my Facebook timeline (ashamed) and look at the date I was bragging about leaving the Uk.... and then moaning about being back in the UK. The last few years were easy with emails

    On the 309/100 one of the questions on the main form was asking what countries I had visited in the past ten years. I had to fill in the dates to and from and why I was visiting. It was a nightmare but I managed to complete it.

    How many of you kept adding documents from lodgement? I.e monthly bank statements bills etc. I uploaded in July and haven’t bothered since.

    Isn’t that already asked for on the main application. I had to list dates to and from all places visited in the last ten years?

    Congrats!! Just a question re your 600.... did you have a one way ticket? Any questions at customs in Australia going through?

    Where are you applying from? You have a document limit so don’t use it all as you may get a request for more documents. Its luck of the draw in some form of time order. Nothing will get you processed quicker!

    Ooooo lovely! Keep me updated when you get there. Will keep me motivated I’m not so looking forward to selling and packing everything up but the end goal is fab! Who are you flying with? We’re going for Emirates as we’ve always had a decent experience although it will be our first time flying with our daughter who will be one!!

    I think the fact that the 309/100 is so LONG drawn you just get anxious about finally getting where you want to be I can’t wait to be ‘living’ outside again. Where are you heading to?

    Thank you SO much for your reply. It’s a huge help. I’m going for my medical on the 15th November so it’s done and dusted for both applications. Then I’m waiting for a bulk holiday pay payment from my employer as I am a stay at home Mum at the moment on Maternity leave. So we’re looking at flying out to Sydney early to mid February so very exciting!

    Oh my gosh that was so quick congratulations!! I want to apply for mine, so do you mind if I ask you some questions?? It would help our family so much and me trying to find someone who has applied and been granted!! 1. What did you put as your reason for visiting 2. What did you put as your reason to return if any 3. Did you have to state you’ll be returning to work for a job? 4. Did you provide proof of savings? If so I know this is quite personal but I’m worried I won’t have enough for them to grant 12 months was it in excess of 10k as we have under that and I just so worried of submitting and getting refused or something 5. Did you mention the 309/100

    Hahaha! I applied in July so I KNOW nothing is happening. I’ve been looking into the 600 a LOT so hopeful we get it all ok.

    Oh my gosh me too! It’s so dark at depressing. I’m just going for it with the 600 and hope for 12 months. I’m gonna do the medical anyway as I need it for the 309 anyway.

    Have you heard anything on your 600. I’m gonna book my medical for November so I can apply for a 600 in December.

    I heard that they’ve closed some of the European offices and therefore they are doing work out of the UK commission office . The UK was one of the fastest processing offices before but I think that all changed .
