    1. You had only applied once before so this applies to you only if 2 or more times sponsored before. 2. It will only count after you have successfully sponsored not the withdrawn applications .

    Looking at last few months, general timeline seems 9-11 months for pakistani applicants.

    It was just my thought that people applied in 2017 get their visa now, those couples have already waited long enough. I mean to say people who applied earlier than us (jan 2018 applicants) get their application processed first.

    I wish they grant all previous 2017 applicant before they start 2018.

    Apply on shore partner visa, application may take more than a year on shore. At least, you will be with your partner. And while application is in progress you can still build and send more evidence to immigration department.

    Further assessment probably mean they are looking at your application. Provide everything in checklist. You should be getting visa soon. I can't check my one . Because i applied through migration agent. I can ask them on Monday.

    Same actually we entered 10th month. 9 months completed i guess. Remember I applied a day before you. What's the status it shows in immi account for your application? Intial assessment or further assessment?

    Only head district office do this not all the govt hospital. Take passport orginal and photocopy. May need CNIC. Airport is good idea.

    I have already provided computerized Nadra marriage certificate issued by union council. I was thinking, it may be is good idea to fulfill everything mentioned in checklist . they haven't sent me any checklist

    Even though, I haven't got visa 309 yet. I still think adding $3500 lawyer fee is good idea. $7000 is big amount but waiting time is killer , you don't want to take risk.

    I am in similar situation. I as applicant has applied in 2012 but withdrawn due to divorce. Now applied 309 in January. I can't afford to take chance on $7000 application fee and long waiting time. I paid $3500 to lawyer /migration agent in Brisbane. Who actually helped me to prepare application. But delayed my application few months to make sure my documents fulfill all criteria.

    What else they can do other than applying. Immigration know it , people have to get together and can't leave their business or work in Australia. May be trying and visitor visa may help. And later apply 820 onshore

    I applied from Pakistan No contact ever, no enail and no interview. Medical and PCC and finger print done in feb 2018

    i applied on 19 jan 2018, and was kept praying ever since, somehow they issue my visa quickly like they do for UK. but its going to be 9 months now ever since. now I just hope they process my visa at least in the sequence because at the moment only December applicants are receiving grants.

    What is result of your court hearing? You said satisfied. Is that mean your visa has been granted now?
