Keep it simple! Don't change name on id card. Just update marital status. Or even don't even do anything. Its not serious. Take it easy.

One reason visa got rejected, husband didn't visited her wife for long 20 months visa processing time. Another reason couple didn't spend enough time together after marriage. And sponsor returned back to Australia didn't travel back. Many people with just Nikkah got visa more easily and quickly i noticed. As they understand applicant is limited to provide number of evidences. Maybe someone else can share some more. But they take character very seriously, fake documents, criminal records, high speed dangerous driving. Repeated offenses.

Union councils are big pain. All old use less fellows sitting there. Take it easy. Your marriage certificate says previous marital status never married. Thats perfect. However your current marriage status as married can be linked with your CNIC when you provide certified photocopy of marriage certificate to NADRA. and paying additional Rs1400 , they can issue you FRC ( in case someone wants to get extra document as proof of relationship. Its not compulsory. However Many people get it.

Talking about updating marital status in NADRA. Many of assume it gets updated automatically in NADRA. It may not be that important. But to update marital status one will have to visit NADRA office.

My wife didn't go along as i just went to renew CNIC expiring in few months. They updated it. Assuming it will be same if a female will visit NADRA alone.

Also to update only one of you can go to NADRA office and update it with orginal ID card and certified copy of marriage certificate

I guess it doesn't matter as per my understanding. I see union council issued marriage certificate have written NADRA on that i thought it gets updated automatically. However recently i applied for renewal of my CNIC, they updated in System and asked me attach certified copy of Marriage Certificate. That's when i realized NADRA needs to updated separately. The bottom line is doesn't matter anyway seriously but i always say for peace of mind it's better to update now than later for roughly cost of Rs 1000. I guess you can also update your new after marriage address. Furthermore can apply for FRC (family registration certificate ) as couple ; an extra document to add in application.

True $900/$1800 isn't problem. Its waiting time and lawyer fee both are too big. I wish there was option for double fee half time. Immigration need screening, but why government don't make AAT better for offshore applicants.

Our union councils are serious pain. I had a lot of trouble in my union council. When they fill Nikkah form they don't do properly. AUD7000 plus extra 15 months in waiting. Don't understand why government don't fix this wait time at least AAT wait time.

I was wondering why did your partner visa got rejected. And how easy is court process?

I request you guys to at least pray for me . I'm not sure if that's good thing or bad but in 16 months of application they haven't bothered me except in early November for an interview call. Expected 8 months when i applied in January 2018 have changed in 16 months, and still Allah know how long more we have to wait.

Very Sad to see results of elections. However wait and game of politics is over . liberal achieved required results. Whatever they'll have to clear the queues now. Because there's no benefit to liberal to hold our application any further unnecessary. (My opinion)

Voting already started in Australia. All Australian fellows, put LNP last , vote anyone but not these liberal elites who owns all private media groups and trying to privatize ABC only way left to find truth. Ya Allah, put LNP last today. I'm so worried about working class Australians. Liberals are ruining our beautiful multicultural society. Liberals are so Fake and artificially showing low number of immigrants by delaying our visas.

So Liberal government LNP especially Power Hungry(as described by Media ) minister of Home Affairs Peter Dutton can show low number of migrants in previous years and get votes. Things will get better slowly after election.

That's ridiculous. You don't need to travel to lahore for pcc, you can apply from Rawalpindi district office. It may help a bit. Also if you can't travel, any blood relative can apply with authority letter on your behalf.

This is solutions. Public awareness is must , let Australia know how they are reducing immigration numbers. Put LNP last on voting list.

True. But agent says its within standard global processing times. As your application is still within the processing time, the Department will not respond to our query for update, if we make them. Once it crosses the Processing time, we can lodge a complaint with the Global feedback unit if you instruct us to do so.
