  1. When dd you do your health check, mate? The results are normally valid for 12 months.
  2. Did you get an electronic ticket? Then it may still be available in your email inbox. Alternatively, you may try calling to the airline company to retrieve this info. Otherwise, you can specify approximate dates in the Form 80 and write a short note that you do not remember exact dates, it is not a big deal I believe.
  3. Great that they started processing February! Do you know by chance his occupation?
  4. Congratulations to all who got their PR recently! ? It seems the processing speed got increased, which gives hope to all of us who are still waiting for the PR.
  5. PR application was one of the most expensive thing I got to pay for. And what I got with this payment: - Not sure if I will get the thing I payed for. - Not sure when I will get it. - Cannot reimburse the money, if you are not satisfied with what you get. Ironically, when you play lottery, you at least know when you get to know the answer.
  6. Also thought about this. I wish this is the reason. So many approvals from January in the last few days!
  7. It seems you have to pay to access this. P.S. If you google for this title, then this linked can be opened for free from google search results (worked for me).
  8. This gives me a hope that the proposed changes to citizenship law won't be accepted. Especially the proposal to increase the period with PR from one to four years.
  9. Very interesting information, thanks for sharing mate. This provides an additional way to track the application progress.
  10. Hi, I just logged in to my account to check this. In my case under the name of my wife it is written "11 attachments received of 60 maximum.". So, I do not experience the issue you reported. If I were you I would give a call to the immigration, to investigate this problem.
  11. Dear friend, I am sorry to tell you that information you provided is incorrect. The visa requirement does not state that one has to maintain private health insurance. The requirement (#8501) means "that you must maintain fully comprehensive health insurance while you are in Australia". Medicare health insurance falls in this category and is sufficient to satisfy the 8501 condition. Surely, one can choose to keep his private health insurance, but he does not have to.
  12. No you don't. Please do not post things you do not know. Once you applied for PR (by lodging visa application), you can get Medicare and stop your private health insurance. I know it from personal experience.
  13. u have to complete ur 24 months... that is the one of the main requirements Not for the DE stream.
  14. Remember that for the DE stream you will also need to do the skill assessment, unlike the TRT case. If you sure you can do it quickly, then why not to apply now? They keep changing the law frequently, so I think the sooner you apply the better it is. Besides, you cannot be 100% sure that your employer won't change his mind in 6 months time either.
  15. If it is within their processing timeline, I doubt there is anything you can do but wait.
  16. I have received the acknowledgement letter also to my email, specified for correspondence when filling the application form. In case your application was submitted my MA, I think it will be his email address. So if you applied via MA, you probably can ask him about it.
  17. Same here. I suppose now one can deduce the processing team based on the email address you received an acknowledgement from. For example, mine was sent from nsw.pse@border.gov.au, so I assume it must be the NSW PESE, in this case.
  18. Hi @Parkesy ! Congrats with your PR! Can you please let me know if you provided Character Statutory Declaration or Form 80 with your application? On the immigration website it is written "If you are applying in Australia, you should provide this information with your application.". (Link) Though, it seems that many people do not provide Form 80 with their application, and I never heard about someone providing the Statuary Declaration as well. Anyone else who has knowledge about this please share it here.
