Did you apply for both at the same time?

Things change so much but I believe when I applied 15 months ago. The processing time started from when you lodge a 'complete application' which includes visa so your wait time would begin February 2018. I was advised by my MA to apply for both Nomi & Visa at the same time to save any extra waiting. Maybe I am wrong, it may be worthwhile checking.

I suggest you speak to your MA but I wouldn't think you can avoid fees if you want to apply for a different visa entirely and the processing time is specific to each visa and not to the applicant. You cannot transfer your wait time to another visa.

Your conditions of 187 visa are met when you complete 2 years.

What visa did you come over on? My parents are planning to do the same.

Speak to Registered MA for free consultation but you must be able to sponsor him on a family visa surely... Good luck!

They will change the requirements for 187 visas to Citizenship but all this f*kcing around is only making it worse for everyone.
