  1. Hey, I follow another forum post on here called '187 Processing Times' and the Office Managers on there got their visa approved within a few days! Good luck ?
  2. So no doubt I will be in a similar boat with Personal Assistant. What a joke!
  3. Have you had any update? I'm not sure they would process applications in terms of 'positions'.
  4. It has just changed to 22 - 24 months processing time.
  5. What is Bridging Visa C???!!! EDIT: Just googled it, that is just plain cruel.
  6. I reckon they are trying to force people to leave the country or change their visa.
  7. Why can't you go home? You just need to apply for a Bridging Visa B. I'm just back from a month in Scotland (home)
  8. Yes bigger picture, when!? My MA has been great and they are always so supportive and helful but no one can help with the frustration the wait times cause. Yes agreed, I believe each state has different rules. Thank you so much, that was really kind and I hope to see you post your good news on here soon! x
  9. I think WA may have different rules but yes, I can't find it anywhere either.
  10. It sucks big time. Lets hope we get some news soon, like NOW - haha I'm so impatient. Regional Queensland for 2 and a half. At my sponsored job for nearly a year and I'm sooooo unhappy. I don't get great wages either which is depressing. Hope you are keeping well x
  11. Commitment to work for 2 years from date of visa approval , In the visa application form, as the applicant, you are required to declare that you: Agree to work in the nominated position for at least two years Understand that if you as the applicant, or any family members included in the application or third parties acting your behalf, provide (or have provided in a previous application) false or misleading information, or bogus documents either knowingly or otherwise, the visa application will be refused and you may be subject to three year bar in relation to visas to which the fraud criterion applies. Any visa granted may be cancelled. Effectively, this means that when your visa application is lodged, you must have the intention to work for your sponsoring employer in your nominated role for at least 2 years from the date that the visa is approved. You need to continue to have this intention until a decision is made on your application. If your intention changes before lodgement, or during processing, and you no longer intend to work for your sponsoring employer for at least 2 years from when the visa is approved, then you should either not lodge the application or inform the Department and withdraw your application (which ever is applicable to your situation).
  12. We are almost on the exact same timeline, and your story sounds similar to mine although I'm not pregnant...... yet! Here's hoping for good news. Where abouts in Oz are you?
  13. Medicare doesn't cover baby costs. Requirement of my visa is private health care?
  14. I work at home at the weekends, live on a farm so plenty to do. I love my life here but I just want to be able to plan for the future. Thanks for your suggestion though
  15. I want to start a family, I'm 30 and concerned I will never be able too ? Plus I'm not overly happy at sponsored job! Fingers crossed x
  16. I work 6am - 5pm most days at my sponsored job and travel 40 mins each way every day so I don't have time to travel no more ? Has yours been approved?
