  1. Wow. Thanks @VERYSTORMY for the answer. I completely think that State would screen the genuine of documents prior before giving the nomination, as they are the one who pick people from EOI based on the points claimed. Aren't they suppose to make sure those points claimed for English, Experience,... have met the requirement before nominate someone? (Sorry for being naive here as I have never use agent. I'm doing everything by myself,,,,)
  2. Hi all, Just asking for a knowledge in here. I know that State nomination does not guarantee a visa grant from the Department of Home Affairs. Has anyone in here got visa refusal from DHA after been nominated by the State? What happened? And how to prevent this happening? Thank you so much.

  5. It is in the website https://migration.qld.gov.au/latest-news/queensland-business-and-skilled-state-nomination-programs-now-closed/ Queensland has now closed state nomination for all business and skilled visas (submitted through SkillSelect) from today 8 February 2019. No further invitations will be issued from this date. BSMQ will continue to process applications which have been already invited for state nomination prior to this date until our quota is exhausted. BSMQ will re-open the State Nomination Program in the new financial year. Please submit a new EOI after the new occupation lists have been released in July. We will not select any submitted EOI’s prior to this time.

  13. I got positive assessment from VETASSESS. I have been working for the occupation for 3.5 yrs, however VETASSESS deducted 2 years so Number of years assessed positively: 1.5 How should I put work experience in EOI? Should I or shouldn't I include those 2 years deducted. (EOI asks to state starting date. if I ignore those 2 years that means starting date is 2 years later than reality??) Please help. Thank you.

  15. https://www.homeaffairs.gov.au/WorkinginAustralia/Pages/4-april-2018-invitation-round.aspx Please can anyone enlighten me. The link doesn't mention any invitation for Visa190 at all? Looking back to old links, there is no mention to 190 as well. (https://www.homeaffairs.gov.au/Search/Pages/Results.aspx?k=invitation round) How can we know information related to number and points that have been invited for 190 Visa Thank you.
  16. Hi there, I am very disappointed by the negative outcome. Did anyone here got their negative outcome and got positive from re-assessment? Please help. My question is: what is the best way to position this in the reassessment application? I'm afraid it would seem fishy if I provide another job description that goes into further details of the required tasks. I actually have a solid argument as I actually perform most of the tasks that ANZSCO required. I'm just not sure what's the best way to approach this. what are the additional documents that strong enough to support?
  17. Sorry I can't be any help for RPL. As I know in VIC they only accept this occupation only for PhD graduates.
