  1. Hi, I'm so sorry to hear that. what's the exact reasons. for this refusal? is his restaurant running at loss or the turn over doesn't satisfy the immigration? speak with your ma see if there is a good chance that turn it out a different result? or maybe switch to another MA to get different aspect of consultation. anyway, I have been in Australia for9 years already, still fighting for it. dont give up if there is a slight chance. best luck to you and your fiance.
  2. hi, I actually did it last year. was asked. for about14-20 questions, such as, how you organise daily kitchen operation, what to do when equipment error occurs, how to train new staff, how to deal with conflicts, how to communicate with supervisor and staff, the procedures of developing new menu, how to. deal with suppliers, those are in can recall, Hopefully it can help you.
  3. I did it too in Sydney last march, approved a few weeks later
  4. hi man, I think we are similar, I applied through de on 457 base in dec 2017, chef. the only difference is my 457 visa expired.
  5. congrats man! 11months,brilliant. did you do medical check when immi asked or provided everything when submitted?
  6. thanks for sharing. coz I was on a 457base while applied through de, not able to apply trt due to change of employer, visa expired this March, and switched on bridging visa A too. I'm looking for someone who is similar. currently I'm still with my457sponsor, but curious that if my sponsor needs to post ads for recruiting.
  7. Hi buddy, you said you applied de onshore, what was your visa status when submitted? mind telling me please?
  8. Dear all friends, got a question here which concerns me quite a little bit. I applied 186de on a.457 base, coz change of employer。Would my employer need to keep putting ad looking for staff as my position? thanks
  9. Hi, congrats. first of all. I'm a de applucant too, just wondering if it's necessary for the emoloyer to keep putting recruit ad while your application being processing? thanks. a lot
  10. My MA would have the same opinions. it's better wait until you are eligible for trt. DE does have extra requirement and use to take longer than trt to process. if your ma is reliable, listen to him.
  11. Has anyone been granted lately through 186de, either cook or chef?
  12. congratulations, my friend! did you apply nomination and visa the same day?
  13. yep, I think it's true though, a friend of mine lodged nomination only last July, his. MA said the immi changed their guideline, which is the time frame actually starts counting from the day of visa lodgement, not the nomination
  14. Hi, mate. glad to know another chef in this forum. we are similar, I appiled through direct entry, both nomination and visa lodged on19/12/2017 which is just 4days after you. I check my immi account pretty as often as you do. however, within the leased time frame, we can't expect any news within such short time right? why dont we just make every day count and live happily at least for another couple of months? It will come soon or later, guess many have been waiting for way longer than us, keep up, buddy, there always been good news lately from this forum, isn't that good enough so far?
  15. 19/12/2017 chef de nsw. long way to go. you made this far, be a little more patient, it will come around.
  16. I guess you will hear that great news very soon, given by lately granted numbers that applied from last may to July. don't worry
  17. Hi, buddy, thanks for that. what youjust said actually answered my question that I could have the health check done before the co asks if confident with my application. what worries me is the timeframes of each Applicant are quite different with no any traces in order.
