  1. Works for me both time - Nomination and Visa application. Waited 28 days, sent an email, instant approval Different Case Officers since I lodged these 2 separately.
  2. Hi, Just got my PR last week, for those who already provided additional docs for s.56, wait for 28 days then send Case Officer an email, they will finalise it for you. That s what I did and they finalised instantly after 1 business day. Best of luck
  3. Hi guys, Finally got a Case Officer allocated to my Nomination application - exactly 9 months waiting !!! The Case Officer requested for the following documents: - Genuine need for a paid employee Does anyone have a template to answer this type of question. Please help :) Thanks a lot
  4. Hi guys, Just want to clarify if for visa 186 DE, do we need to do a Labour Market Testing. I cannot see this requirement on the Immi Doc Check List (their website) but some people said that they did it for their visa. Asked my MA but he has not replied yet. Confused !!!
  5. I did the PY to make up for IELTS, so that s how i got my full skills assessment for accountant. Not sure how they do manage the invitation but only half of the quota is filled atm.
  6. Hi, For accountant right now, even if u get 80 for point test, it s not guaranteed for you to receive an invitation as no invites have been issued for this occupation since Jan 2018 if i remember it correctly. Plus im struggling to get 7 in writing for IELTS so basically i got 65 for point test without IELTS I just renewed my SA for general accountant and got the result today. All good !! And yes, I m working for an accounting firm.
  7. Hi guys, For my Nomination, I have provided: - Invoices for training benchmark from 1 July 2015 to 30 June 2017 - 2016 & 2017 Balance Sheet and Income Statement - All BAS from 1 July 2015 to 30 June 2017 - My personal bank statements shows my fortnightly income since 2014 to 30 June 2017 (3 year working fulltime) - All payment slips since 2014 - 2017 - Member Statement for super since 2014 to 2017 As DE will take 10-15 months to process, I assume that I will have to provide additional documents regularly till a Case Officer is allocated ? Is that right ? Im using Aussizz Group as my MA and the guy doesnt tell me anything if i need to provide new docs to him to upload on Immi Account.
  8. Bellabonkers, On your status, you said that you lodged the Nomination on 20/04/2017 and Visa 186 on 20/05/2017, I assumed your Nomination has not been approved yet ? and you submitted the visa application is to get the bridging visa ? or am i missing something here
  9. I applied in Sept 2017, if it goes like this, hopefully i will be in the next batch for April to Oct 2017
  10. Hi Bellabonkers, - Skills assessment - you will need to check with your regulator as they will tell you how long your SA last for. For example, I m doing my SAs with CPA and on their website they said it will only be valid for 3 years. You can also find this on the Immi website under their document check list. According to the Immi, they said the SAs only valid till the expiry date or for 3 years period, whichever occurs earlier. - IELTS - generally last for 3 years for migration purposes but only need to be valid at the time of lodgement. If you lodge your visa application and this expires then it is still okay. - Police Check only valid for 12 months, same as Health Check.
  11. There is a checklist on the Immi website, I recommend you should go through the list. If you are going to apply as a de facto and you are included in the same application as your partner (not applying separately), I do not think you need to provide anything at all except for Police Check and Health Check. Unless I read it wrong and you want to apply for a separate application yourself then there will be a huge load of documents you will need to provide / go through and obviously the cost is much higher when you go independent, instead of going with your partner. My gf joined my 457 visa back then and she did not need to submit anything except primary stuff such as birth certificate, passport, police check, health check, insurance and that is pretty much it.
  12. Hi Tommy, Just did a bit of research on Immi website, and they said the following: Skill assessment: A skills assessment is only valid until the expiry date specified on the assessment, or for a period of three years from the assessment's date of issue, whichever occurs first - It seems that I will have to redo my SAs. IELTS: As a result, you must provide evidence of having achieved the required minimum test scores in a specified English language test that has been conducted within three years immediately prior to the date of your application - They said "within 3 years immediately prior to the date of your application", I assume I will not need to redo this as long as I submit my visa before the expiry date. This is the only thing that I can find out about Professional Year, nothing much about it https://www.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/supporting/Pages/skilled/Professional-year-in-Australia.aspx And for the Vietnamese Police Check, i did do the Clearance No.2. Just hope that I do not have to redo it as it is a real PITA and I m not intending to leave the country until my visa is done and over with.
  13. Guys, What to do when your supporting documents are going to expire and your Nomination has not been approved yet. I asked my agent and he said as long as i submit the visa 186 application prior the expire date of the supporting documents, it should be fine even if the documents are expired after the lodgement date. Is this true ? Is there anyone in the same situation ? Professional Year valid till 29/05/2019 IELTS valid till 24/10/2018 - this is going to cost me $$$ to redo Skills Assessment valid till 15/06/2018 - this is going to cost me $$$ to redo AFP valid till 24/08/2018 Oversea Police Check valid till 31/10/2018 - this is a painful process to get it done Please advise - thanks
  14. Hi guys, I just want to ask what is the "go" with the expiry date for those supporting documents we have to provide for visa application. I submitted my Nomination for visa 186 DE back in 9/2017 and have not heard anything (so obvious coz it has been 6 months only, and they are only processing application up to March 2017). However, I already prepared all other documents for my visa application, such as: Certificate for Professional Year for accounting, this will be expired on 29/05/2019 IELTs will expire on 24/10/2018 Skills assessment will expire on 15/06/2018 Overseas Police Check will expire in 12 months AFP check will expire in 12 months Going by that timeline, I assume that I will have to submit my visa application by June 2018 as IMMI said supporting documents must be "valid at the time of lodgement". This also has been confirmed by my agent. Is there anyone is the same situation as myself and what would you do in this case. Please let me know your thoughts, thanks
