  1. @slacey84 yes I definitely think so. My 457 was due to expire on May 29th and would have needed to apply for the other bridging visa. I just wrote that exact statement in the email, and received automated response. I wasn't expecting anything to come from it after that and the action the following day surprised me. Also given the fact that the information requested was very minor, and not relevant to the application. So it required very little action in regards to background checks. I think that was probably the biggest factor.
  2. @Botany Congrats on the very quick movement of your case! I think it's likely your nomination has been approved BUT we have encountered a few cases on this forum recently whereby requests were made on the application, and nomination was still pending. Worth trying to track down someone in your MA agency for a definitive answer. Good luck
  3. Finalised!!! Happy Thursday! Sent an email last night to nsw.pse (the account we received the s56 request from) advising of travel plans for June and asked that if possible our case could be looked at before then. Absolutely no idea if that was the cause for the Grant this morning, but I definitely won't lose sleep over it Hang in there guys, and if you've uploaded the requested information why not drop them a reply. It can't hurt. Peace!
  4. Great to see another Chippy Check out details in my signature where a request for licencing has slowed us down. CO requested proof of licencing/registration which is not required in WA. And now we're back in the pile Hopefully yours isn't far off!
  5. Nomination just approved! So thankful to my MA for putting up with my constant questions. Only wish now that I hadn't been so slow to submit my application. We do medicals tomorrow, so hopefully have it finalised in the next month. PS - signature updated before anyone asks about the "famous email"
  6. @MandyParker As far as I am aware, you do not need a qualification (only positive skills assessment, amongst other requirements) for the 190 State Sponsorship. This is a PR visa. But I am unsure what States (if any) have Analyst Programmer on the list. Check into it yourself, but I would suggest speaking to an MA about any/all of the options available to you. You don't want to give up on your Australian dream without having exhausted all pathways.
  7. @GAL I'm not sure what post you are referring to, but can offer some guidance that I have read on other posts. An update to your 'last updated' date could be due to MA/yourself uploading new documents; or BUPA uploading medical results. Both could happen and not affect status. I suggest posting into this thread if you have questions regarding a 186 visa https://www.pomsinoz.com/topic/193485-skillselect-ens-186-timeline/?page=2056
  8. @pr where are you ... Yes there is still a chance, as the nomination and application check for different things. For example your company may tick all the boxes, hence a nomination approval; but incorrect information or health/character issues on your side could lead to application refusal. However if your police checks and medicals are all in check, you should be on your way to an approval
  9. @beesal No. The nomination is a completely separate application and is directly between your Company and Immigration.
  10. @syc15 As an Irish resident I was not required to obtain private health cover, due to the reciprocal agreement in place between the two countries. I've read other posters have advised to keep your health insurance, as it is a requirement of your current 457 visa.
  11. Welcome @syc15 Yes, you can go into the Medicare office now that your application is lodged. Bring with you your passport, and IMMI letter of acknowledgement of PR lodgement. I have done this, while still on my 457, and received temporary Medicare card before I left the centre. They post you out an actual card in a few days.
  12. @Khairul I was in the same situation last year. MA requested 2018 financials to update application about August last year. They were not ready from the accountant at that stage. My MA was happy to upload the company Profit&Loss report until finalised version was prepared. This was a simple form printed from our software system, Quickbooks. Company received finalised financials in October and MA updated application. I think if your company can provide some documents to show how the year 2017/2018 ended on their books you will be ok. Perhaps company accountant could write a note advising the financials are not finalised yet and perhaps give estimated turnover figure. I would be open with your MA re company's stance on 2018 financials and they will advise the next best option.
  13. @sachin1983 My MA has said that it is a new process adopted by Dept in order to have applications up to date when they are opened by CO. It's an attempt to avoid any further delays.
  14. I'm now in the same boat too got email from NSW PSE this morning said our application will be handed to a decision maker soon, and advised us to complete police checks (already uploaded), and medicals. Still no word from MA on nomination. Hope it runs smoothly from here.
