  1. Oh no that is a nightmare. No idea why they are fucking around with flights less than 3 weeks out but assume it is to do with Govt moving numbers around. I have spoke to SIA today and they tell me that all necessary cancellations for next week have been sent, but honestly I won't believe it until I am on the plane taking off.
  2. Yes you can do it earlier, but then you need to update your health and travel declarations within 7 days anyway, so not much point to be honest.
  3. Thanks @Gothnet - fingers are well and truly crossed. All our stuff went yesterday, travel declarations all done, G2G pass updated. Just got to find some one way travel insurance as my annual one doesn't cover migration. Just to scare the shit out of us, I saw the first cancellation from SQ223 on facebook earlier. 30th September. We fly next week so hopefully they are working on date order and we are ok. There is no plan B now.
  4. Thanks, I have raised a refund request with them so fingers crossed!
  5. Thanks yes I saw this - sadly I’d booked with express test who don’t guarantee under 48 hours, so we’ve had to book with Collinson at Heathrow. Another £240 down the drain.
  6. Yes 223 seems to be the lucky flight at the moment. Not seen any cancellations recently.
  7. And thank goodness for that. Our flight with Singapore to Perth is fingers crossed still confirmed two weeks out.
  8. It just gets worse.. 3000 people just got their flights home cancelled, most of whom are fully vaccinated and a lower risk than the man on the street in Sydney.
  9. Yes. I’ve just finished my job, container goes in 10 days. So many cancellations.
  10. Frankfurt was new codes I know that much.
  11. The code comes when the flights are released so everyone is in the same boat, it’s a new code and flight link each month. We are a week later that last month already so should be next week.
  12. Sorry to hear that. DFAT is all you can do at the moment, hopefully the London to Darwin September flights are imminent, and as you are ready to go you should be able to take advantage of the shorter notice ones. Make sure you put details of your situation in the comments box at the bottom of the DFAT form - and include your cancellation details in the form as well. You could also email or call consular services to make sure you get the email. Demand is high so they will sell out in 20-30 minutes I expect, although your chances are higher if you can take the ones a week out rather than 3 weeks. Good luck!
  13. Thanks - Moving To Adelaide - Page 2 - South Australia - Moving to Australia - Pomsinoz Forum Beauvinyl made it!
  14. Congratulations @BeauVinyl so glad you made it ok! Sounds a little traumatic but I'm sure you will be fine. My dad is also unwell just as we are about to leave (although he lives in France so i cannot see him) and it certainly adds to the stress.
  15. Mine aren't until the 15th September.
  16. I hope so - just paid for the removals!! and got permission to bring the car with IronLady.
  17. I'm not that worried about a job once we are in, more being stuck in the UK without one burning money! I had a 3 month notice period, so resigned from my job before the caps were halved and the stress doubled.
  18. 15th September. Not cancelled yet no, but I can't take the risk with no jobs, house or schools from the 10th... Fingers crossed it comes tomorrow.
  19. I think actually if you arrive after a certain time is ends up being 15 nights.
  20. Still no news on the DFAT London-Brisbane for September. Frankfurt ones sold out in half an hour this morning.
  21. Normally I wouldn't either, but it can be several hours from the plane to getting into your room in Quarantine without any drinks or snacks for the kids.
  22. I've looked pretty closely at the import rules for food in the past couple of weeks - pretty much you can bring processed sealed snacks in, but nothing dairy or fresh fruit / veg etc. And declare anyway so you can show it to the border people to avoid any risk of error.
  23. Hi - yes cheaper for under 12s but not sure how much cheaper. You should get an registration email / confirmation every time you make a change. You won’t get an email with code until they release new flights I don’t think.
  24. Same here - I don't think they came out, lots of people on the Stuck in the UK Facebook group also waiting. I also noted they changed the baggage allowance for carry on from 115cm to 105cm which is smaller than normal cabin bag and hold baggage 30 kg and one piece per person. No additional allowance for Premium economy or Business either. nuts.
