  1. Thanks for the information, in this case, do I have to call them or do I have to fill a special travel request form. on the other hand, please see below: Section 22B of the Citizenship Act provides that persons engaged in particular kinds of work requiring regular travel outside Australia are eligible for a special residence requirement. To meet this special residence requirement, during the four year period immediately before they submit their application, a person must have: been engaged in the prescribed work for at least two years; been ordinarily residing in Australia, and have been a permanent resident for the last 12 months; been present in Australia for at least 480 days in total, including at least 120 days during the 12 months immediately before applying; and not been present in Australia as an unlawful non-citizen.
  2. it's usually a few weeks, I don't have to inform the immi department. When you are granted a permanent visa, you are usually permitted a 5-year travel facility. This means you can leave and re-enter Australia as many times as you like in the 5 years from the date your permanent visa was granted, as long as your visa remains valid. I usually check the VEVO website every time I go to double-check the PR validity form my understanding, if I traveled for more than 90 days, I'll have to issue a police clearance from the country I visited.
  3. Yes, its part of my Job to travel overseas at least twice a year. I was thinking with this scenario one day, that my application is kept on hold every time I travel but not sure how true is that
  4. Yes, applied 4/03/2019, it shows application received and no improvement on the application status ever since and still waiting. City: Wagga Wagga, NSW
  5. I can see from watching this thread that people applied in the last 4-6 months received their approval so quickly, what about the previous applicants then? Should it be first in first receive approval!!
  6. I travel multiple times per year with my company for business and it's all HR countries, will that be affecting the process time? does that mean the border and security department will have to investigate my file every time I go for an overseas trip?
  7. You should be a permanent resident for 1 year before you apply for citizenship
  8. Oh! That's really good. It raises everyone's hope now especially ones applied in 2019 a hope that their applications will be processed soon, I've applied a month after you
  9. Congrats mate, That's seriously quick. Can you please advise what country you are originally from and if you are applying for the citizenship for your self or with your partner?
  10. Congrats Mate, It seems to be randomly selected, I've applied exactly a month before you but there is no change in the status of my application only received.
  11. 7 months to get a response, that is great turnover time
  12. I reckon there's a typo here , online application was done in 2018 instead of 2019
  13. I think all cases are individually assessed and timeframe on the website is only for guidance, I can see it varies between one and every case regardless of being in metro or regional. So disappointing and unfair
  14. I reckon that's a typo, otherwise, the next generation will get the citizenship
  15. What's immigration season? it never stops and it's all the year around.
  16. Congrats mates, could you please let us know what was your home county?
  17. Congrats mate, could you please let us know your original country?I used to believe that they process the applications randomly, but seems like some nationalities are taking a longer time than the others or maybe someone else might correct me cheers
  18. Congrats Mate, would you advise what was your previous country of Citizenship?
