If you get a motorbike around there be bloody carEful..'P' platers come out of nowhere doing totally the wrong thing havent ridden a bike since..my ex Partner and i nearly died on it there..never before...even in London also the port doug road has numerous deaths and incidents and the road down from kuranda at the bottom Not to mention the wet a bit irrelevant but worth mentioning... ..theres a local croc at cape trib good choice by the way...congrats :-)

Another thing to mention is i added up the thefts in london once after eight or so years there including campervans cars multitracks laptops motorbikes and people opening door attempted burglary in the middle of the night it totalled 19,000 pounds. Its some type of people living there.people say aus is 'safe' but not sure it is with the amount of sharks crocs irakuni..not redbacks etc i have seen in my industry. Everytning here wants to kill you... miss the good music venues etc little did i know the aussie i met there and cornwall was from a remote outback farm town at the time... Ktellis i think u will do better in melbourne..stick at it

Wow writergirl thats pretty much how i have felt for two years thanx for that.had heaps more fun there actually.sadly my partner wanted to stay in aus as she had a sick mom and lots of aborigine family connectioms and is from an outback farm anyway so now i'm a free spirit just cant make my mind up.lucky yum for u u r both going.not being able to do cool stuff with myfam here isthe difficult Thing.on saying that i am sure i will regret it a year later so need to tread carefully

Thanx booma had a lot of weddings in europe lately havent been bqck six years due for returning resident visa been a nz resident for 15yrs thats indefinite here they seem to want more money again... thats the situation at the moment.yeah i suffer serious homesickness now :-) i havent been clever enough to arrange going back every year or whatever got too involved in the aus lifestyle..islands diving kiting etc myself....and its bloody miles away compares to easy europe flights and flights from broome etc are ludicrous. This is a v sad post i am v v sorry to read this. If i were you i would find out about the ruining his career part if a complaint is made...thats very admirable of u .lots of women actually do that for no reason through vindictiveness when there was never actually anything of the sort ..happened to me once. She also did it to another chap a year later. Probably more too! .in reality she was the alchoholic and bully however if he had any sense or emotions he would realise what is happening is wrong Goodluck .i really meanthat. Hi best thing going is amaysim type AMAYSIM ... ;; 40 a month prepaid unlimited international aus texts and calls ten gb..its on optus network which is good everywhere except for in v v remote places if not go telstra 30month 3gb calls etc Dont go vodaphone unless yr in melbourne or something? Get amaysim sim on optus/unlocked network or telstra if v v remote and just let yr contract evaporate Just an idea..

They are trying to attract more people to gero now and things theres been alot of tourist etc activities lately but it has a long way to go..i agree..it could go and be better but sadly alot of the people in gero themselves havent got a clue from what i have seen.

hi i am completely guilty of this someone said above...i am from london..wasnt allways there but eightyrs was there. I find australia completely backward and terrible and full of boguns lacks decent clubs and culture. So heaps of aussies give me a wide berth because i am now blatantly clear about it. Why?? I wasnt in the first twothree years i found australia interesting...things to see..do that were different etc. Then i got sick of australians who had never been anywhere but bali or sri lanka going on about how brilliant aus is and lucky we are...now i give it to them bAck the only way i survive here is having alot of european friends..we gravitate to each other kind of....i have actually reached the point that i dont like australians..the accents..the constant bantering about things that lack depth...cars...boat boats... i have to say not all aussies are like that...thank god.lots are nice...and the best are such as you and your# partner..the ones with canadian partners or euros whatever the ones who have actually seen the world....and that is not just bali! So...good luck homesickness never goes away if yr family are in london it seems like the woman allways returns anyway
