  1. Emailing CO or immigration in general for me has never resulted in any response. when you uploaded the docs online did you click on the Notify immigration ive uploaded docs button?

  3. Hi All, My company has applied for an SBS to sponsor me, however the SBS application was done by our accountant, she has since left and immi have requested further info, We basically hand balled the request to a migration agent who asked for some info, BAS Statements payroll etc and then said they have submitted the info to immi and will advise me shortly. Now this was two weeks ago, Im paranoid as the immi request says 28 days to supply info, however even though I gave the migration agent login details to the application they never logged in they must of just emailed them to immi? So i have no date stamp and its fast approaching the 28 day.. So my questions are .. Shall I tell the migration agent I want the docs so I can just upload them? Shall i just trust they know what they are doing? shall I get another opinion? My current visa expires August 3rd and I need this sbs approval before then. Any help appreciated
  4. Hi I have just read the email attachments and it seems they want payroll expanditure to show we meet the 1% training We have a staff member on a trainee ship with a salary of around 35k - this was already uploaded but I cant see if the person who done it (Has left the company now) got the information certified.. So I have 2 questions. 1 - How do I prove the trainee is a Auzzie citizen or PR - He doesn't have a passport, but does have mediacare card and a Birth certificate obviously so do I need to ask him to supply these so I can prove we are training Austrialian Citizens? 2) Do i need to print these docs off then go get them all certified? so I need to print off 2 copies take them to someone to certify then upload them? I am not sure if this whole request from further information was simply because they docs were not certified. very much appreciate your help on this.. P.S I will obtain the info and visit a MA but I want to take the appropriate information with me and get them to sign and abvise... $180 they will charge i think.
  5. I have been thinking that the UK should leave the EU for many years. Im not sure why but I just have.. I earned a higher wage when I was 21 than when I did last year at the age of 31, and this was hugely due to the ability to take advantage of low paid workers normally from certain EU countries to do or try to do the same job as Ive been doing for a long time. My salary in Australia is nearly 5x of the salary I earned in the UK, I know its comparing apples and pears but 5x is a crazy difference in Earnings. I really would like the UK to flourish and do well outside of the EU, Im sure 30day visas granted on a EU passport is not too hard to arrange, skilled migration, controlled migration. Trade deals will be agreed with Europe before the UK even left and the Pound will be safe. I feel this will be the last time this opportunity will ever happen and all I ask for is a fair vote and lets see how things turn out :-)
  6. The Tsmit is ok, My base salary is $58,000 plus 15000 Car allowance, There is another guy who does the same job as me and is a Citizen and earns $55k base, So My experience earns me slightly more than a Aussie. Ive been employed near 4 months so I'm hoping to lodge the visa application sooner rather than later and hopefully extend that 6 month rule. (if they allow) My visa will be up around the same time as the 6 month rule give or take a few days. I'm not too sure how to prove the market salary rate but if a aussie is doing it for 55k surely that would be a good start? I have a few friends in the recruitment agency who could proovide this information too. Not sure if it would help but I would look into it before submitting any nomination or visa application
  7. Are you a nurse or something having to supply blood tests ?
  8. Thanks for the reply Raul, Everything you said above is pretty much what I thought, The company will be paying for the whole visa but it's a small business with 14 employees and if I can save money for them I'd like too! Im pretty sure my visa application will be simple enough, I'm single, no kids, already employed by them on a WHV, 31yrs old no convictions, low risk country, no health issues apart from lazyituss. ) Raul, do you have any timelines for current SBS approvals in WA at the moment? Regards Sam
  9. Hey All, My company has submitted a SBS sponsorship and this was done by a Migration Agent as it seemed very indepth and my company agreed to pay for it. Now we are waiting for the outcome on the SBS the MA have emailed through another quote for the nomination & Visa and I'm shocked they want another 3000+ Gov costs. So my question is really only to anyone who has submitted nomination or visa application and it is easy enough for a willing and (quite) knowledgable person to do? My company has been open about the whole process and I can get involved in the process. My manager will be doing it and I will be supporting him.. Thanks for any advice Cheers Sam
