  1. I have also been approved! Got the email today. Only 6 months and 2 weeks of waiting. Hopefully this means everyone else who applied in October is coming up for granting now. Good luck everyone!
  2. Thanks for your comment Snifter -- you're right that it is risky but as my contract finishes in June and I live in a very expensive flat it is better for us to go over to Oz earlier and build up our life there. We were originally working to the 5 month timeline that is on border.gov.au and only heard from our case officer that it would take 10-14 months! If we had known, we would have applied much earlier. Luckily I did get my eVisitor granted today without any further hassle so at least we can start planning now. Based on the timeframes of people being granted their 309 in this thread, we will hopefully get it before we go! Congratulations on grants everyone!
  3. That's a nice idea -- it'd be helpful to compare notes & moving checklists!
  4. hi @thebetty82 -- just a question for you on going over on an eVisitor visa. I am applying for one to go over to Oz in case our 309/100 isn't granted on time, but I have been asked to provide a statement that I am a genuine tourist and information about what I will do after I leave Oz. My husband is a PR and it will be obvious to everyone that we are aiming to move to Oz permanently. Did you have to do this? And did you get questioned by Oz Border Control? I am worried that they will send me back if I don't have a return flight or if they are not satisfied that I am a tourist. Any guidance or info much appreciated.
  5. Hi all, I'd thought I'd add to the thread. Offshore PMV 309/100 lodged online 3/10/15, CO © assigned 20/1/2016. Medical and PC frontloaded. Husband is German but has Australian PR, I'm Dutch. We're living in London. Our case officer rang me to ask whether we had more information on our time together in Oz in 2013, to see if we were eligible for 100 straight away (We didn't, so we aren't, but that's OK.) All info for the 309 is complete so we are now just in the queue, they said. Now it's the waiting game. Hoping to fly out mid-July so fingers crossed for the visa coming in before that. If not I'll have to go on an eVisitor one. Thanks for all the info on this thread -- it really helps with the stress!
