  1. Thanks datstheone, snifter and MaggieMay24! I was hoping that would be the case and we would just need to notify them and then upload as evidence. So that's what we'll do! Now to plan a wedding and a move to Australia..... Aaahhh!
  2. Hi all, am after some advice please.....I applied for the 309 at the beginning of March - We were looking to make the move in the first half of 2017. I've been with my Aussie partner for 7 years (not married) but last week he proposed! We want to marry in the UK before leaving so our families etc can be there. I'm not sure how this affects my application and wondering if anyone has any experience of a similar situation please? As I know there's a prospective marriage visa option which I didn't apply for or even look into as we were not engaged at the time DOH! Thank you
  3. wow that's quick work! Took me a month or so to get all the evidence together and ready to submit. Good luck with the wait! I only applied a month ago so am at the beginning of the process too. Out of interest, how long did you spend over there deciding whether or not you wanted to move? I've only spent 4 weeks in Oz (5 years ago!) .....
  4. Brilliant, thanks tracy8099. I saw on my medical it said 100 but my partner is a bit of a pessimist and said that's probably because that's the visa I would end up with so not t get too excited!
  5. Congratulations! Exactly 1 month today that I applied for mine.....feels like an eternity. Quite a few people seem to haven been granted around 7/8 months so fingers crossed for that. Can I ask if you had to confirm that you were after the 100 visa rather than the 309? I've been with my partner 7 years and living together for 5 so should be eligible but just wasn't sure if I had to indicate that anywhere. Thanks Good luck and all the best in Oz!
  6. Hi all So glad to finally be able to join the 'submitted 309 applications' group! Applied and attached all evidence 7th March....let the waiting begin! Haven't completed medical or police check as aware that they're only valid for 1 year and do not want to have to pay twice if it takes the full 14 months for visa grant....fingers crossed it doesn't!
