  2. Finally I have received an email today with the test date of 18th Jan, applied on 7th May from Sydney

  5. Many thanks mate, i did call DIBP and they suggested to discuss this with the assigned case officer. Since its a internal temp move, the company will provide a letter to support the same, fingers crossed this should be good enough. Regards
  6. Hi, I have recently moved overseas on a work assignment for couple of years under the same company. Does anyone into similar situation and if this will impact the decision on my citizenship application which was applied onshore on 9th May 2017? Thanks
  7. Hi, My family and I have applied for the citizenship on 8th May pending update. I have to move to another country for temporary work assignment shortly and wonder if that has any implication on the citizenship application? Thanks
  8. Many thanks aussiepr, yeah I was bit frustrated as it is unusual to wait that long after the nomination approval and when I see the visa grant it is the same CO which previously approved my nomination
  9. It's so difficult to know what happened, perhaps it was the reminder from MA that triggered the outcome but I guess we will never know.

Dear all Finally it's my turn to celebrate [emoji3] Visa grant 20th April Nomination approved 25th Feb Nomination & visa applied on 20th August HR with 4 applicants Same CO, no document request and a follow up done last week for update by my MA Many thanks for everyone on this forum for supporting me and each other in such a long wait and wish everyone the best.   13. We just have to wait as we don't necessarily understand how DIBP works, it's just a matter of time till everyone gets their 186. Meantime let's stay positive and hope for an positive outcome soon. Nom & visa on 20th Aug, Nom approval on 25th Feb and no doc request so far
  14. We have similar timelines, I don't think we can know who the case officer is unless he/she contacts you or you know from the visa grant letter.
  15. Perhaps you are right as my visa application is still pending considering it was lodged in August, I have asked my MA to follow up with DIBP lets see what response he gets
  16. I think international police clearance is considered valid for one year by DIBP even though the certificate may state expiry of 3 or 6 months. This is what I was told by my MA
