Hello Ch128, I am also someone like you trying to establish "patterns" but it never works, but I have a rough idea on the speed. I have got the stats from past posts and updates on this site. Please correct me if I am wrong. 02/11/2014 Processing date : 09/04/2013 19/10/2015 Proc. Date: 10/12/2013 (so in 11 months they processed roughly 8 months of applications). 27/09/2016 Proc. Date 24/06/2014.( so in roughly 11 months only 6 months of applications). Hope that helps. By the way, when did you lodge your application?? Judy.

Hi Julie, I sent the test email yesterday evening Perth time and the auto message was: We are currently assessing applications lodged up to and including 16 June 2014. It didn't say 'no change from last week' either. Maybe they have not updated it hopefully. Amanda, hope your email box is not over quota. Or are you busy sending requested documents to immi? :wink: Judy.

Just wondering what's going on with the Immi updates. They cannot process applications received "upto and INCLUDING 1st June 2014" since 1st June was a Sunday. Hope they meant 2nd June!!

hi we completed 143 visa on 4th october 2015, take a seat in the waiting room, and be prepared for the long wait, be worth it in the end. Hello kimboslice, Could you please add your details to the signature line, so that our fellow 2015 lodgers can stalk each other's progress. There's a long queue piling up @ the 2015 lodging area. Hello Alan, We were also looking for an investment property north of Perth last weekend. Make sure you negotiate (if you are buying) and don't get carried away by comments that the agent makes. Cheers and good luck

Hello everybody , I am unable to view the visa tracker website , which many forum members usually Visit and update. Is it only me or does anyone else experiencing such issues browsing this site? Just curious , because No one has any idea how long parents need to 'lodge in the waiting room' . At a speed of about 3 days worth of applications processed a week, the 103 visa applicants might overtake the 143/174s . Judy.

The reason that they jumped 2 weeks is because there were plenty of holidays with long weekends in April 2014. 18-21 Easter break, 25-27 Anzac Day holiday + weekend . But we must give them credit, they have covered 6 (April 2014 ) working days during this short week of 3 days .

Hi Harvi13, When you say you "Lodged 15/o4 " , did you mean the date you posted the application or the receipt date?? Just curious since Joop says the Immi processing date is now 16/o4. Judy

Hi Lodgers in Waiting, This is the auto response I got Last evening (perth time): The Parent Visa Centre will be closed for the Easter Holidays on Friday 25th March and Monday 28th March 2016. We are currently assessing for finalization applications lodged up to 10 April 2014. So frustrating. :realmad:

Hi Kim, when we applied for PR (for those who don't know me, the dates that appear under my signature is that of my parents), we were approved in the beginning of June 2013,but immi had informed our agent that the quota was full and we will be granted visa at the beginning of July 2013, and so they did. So, sorry to disappoint you but the cut off is June end. But I don't think it will effect you bcos you are way ahead of June end. Judy.

According to the Immigration web site: In the 2015–16 Migration Programme year: •1 500 places have been allocated to Parent (non-contributory) visas (subclasses 103 and 804) •7 175 places have been allocated to Contributory Parent visas (subclasses 173/143 and subclasses 884/864). Do you think they are relaxing now because they would have reached their target of 7175?? And....Does anyone happen to know or can guess about how many Contributory visas applications are received per year??

Hi, I would like to know From those of you who visit Australia while your parent visa is being processed, did you have to get any letter or clearance from immigration , or your visitor visa was sufficient? My parents will be visiting us in Aussie shortly, and are on a 3 year parent visitor visa which was granted last year. When I asked immigration , they said no problem you can travel, but I forgot to ask if permission was required. So pls help (I posted this query earlier, but I didn't get any replies.... :frown:) Judy.

Hi lovely members, Just noticed on the CPV Tracker, someone named "DeeSyd" who lodged /was acknowledged on 29/10/2015 has paid the second Vac by 18/02/2016 (last week). Can someone please shed some light on how this could have happened. It says days to CO 83. Judy.
