Parent visa application timelines (143 & 173)
Kathss56 replied to theballies's topic in Family / Partner Visas
Scan bar code or manually enter (circled on top of letter as attached). It then came up with attach bank guarantee. My daughter can’t remember if Q769 came up but someone else has mentioned that code before so probably ok.- 3,181 replies

Parent visa application timelines (143 & 173)

The letter needs careful reading. Take the letter to Commonwealth Bank. You will need ID plus $150. You need your tax number also, if you don’t have a Commonwealth bank account you will need a bank cheque from your own bank (it was made out to my daughters name) for the amount of bond requested. when you get bond certificate done, you upload it to Centrelink, under “upload documents,” then select “Centrelink form” scan or manually add the bar code on the top of Centrelink letter, it will then say upload bank certificate. Then await AoS approval.- 3,181 replies

@Anks as mentioned before they would have to alter “the law” to grant onshore ones and I doubt they will do that

Parent visa application timelines (143 & 173)
Kathss56 replied to theballies's topic in Family / Partner Visas
@cfernandes as mentioned previously visas on hold until end of May when they will review the situation. They may not even continue now to keep on asking for further info as some Medical centres are not doing the medicals. Who knows! Let’s hope in a couple of months it speeds up again and we get some visas through in this financial year as they must be low on numbers granted.- 3,181 replies

Parent visa application timelines (143 & 173)

In my own opinion! it will go quiet parent visa wise for a while. Mygov website keeps crashing and Centrelink overwhelmed with enquires. Immigration will also be very very busy with temporary visa enquires etc., keep safe everyone- 3,181 replies

If you are not at final stages of visa and haven’t had the request for further info then send it to parents@homeaffairs.gov.au Include all your parents Visa application reference numbers etc in subject line i would also send it again when you are at the final stages to pvcteam

Can’t believe I’m actually sat here relieved I’ve not had visa grant yet! What a sad sad state of affairs for our world I really don’t want it for about 3 months now.

Fab. I’m same date with aos approval etc

Can you change date for later in the year maybe best option. Everything changes daily and rapidly so they may let you cancel eventually. Qantas gave me a credit voucher for full amount valid until Mar next year

Did you send copy of AoS approval to pvcteam as they require you to do this. Then maybe explain your problem when you send it

@LindaH27 I’m wondering if they will just hold of offering visa for now
- 23,997 replies

@LindaH27 If you can change date for free I’d definitely leave it until later. If they are still charging fees probably in a few days/weeks they won’t be.

Hi Alan, Do you think they will just hold off issuing 143’s etc to those of us who are onshore, as obviously we cannot leave to activate
- 23,997 replies
-
No it doesn’t affect your 143 application

Yes you can as I am here on a 600 awaiting 143. Do you mean you are here on a e651? If you apply for a 600 family tourist visa this will then just cancel out the e651
