  5. How long does it take to get a bridging visa Sent from my SM-A500F using Tapatalk
  6. How do u know they missed a doc?? And Immi didnt even request this? Insane and so unfair. Im sure you will be fine for the appeal then. What will happen if you dont get the appeal answer before your 28 days? Sent from my SM-A500F using Tapatalk
  7. Hi How would he know why it was refused, this is on the nomination and I'm sure the MA will not reveal the real reason if this was their mistake. Bit of a catch 22. Very interesting subject as this seems to happen more and more.
  8. Did your MA miss a document???!!! Sent from my SM-A500F using Tapatalk
  9. Oh okay. Good luck and keep us up to date with your progress. Sent from my SM-A500F using Tapatalk
  10. Hi Have you lodged your new nomination yet? How will they link this to your visa and ensure that its assigned and decided before the 28 days are up? Sent from my SM-A500F using Tapatalk
  11. The problem is not receiving any updates. You prepare for 6 months and nothing happen. Not even a CO allocated. Thats also not fair. These are real people whose lives are being affected. Sent from my SM-A500F using Tapatalk
  12. Mavi. Did your MA email them? Sent from my SM-A500F using Tapatalk

  14. Exactly, there is no consistency and we just have to wait. Not fun anymore. I even think our MA is not bothering to follow up anymore. I am really not sure whats going on and seriously dont see that we can do much about the situation. Let me know if your MA gets a reply please.
  15. You can send them an email with regards to the visa application but they wont respond on the nomination progress. I have emailed them before and phoned for the visa part and they responded, very politely actually.
  16. I was thinking the same thing. Our MA says that they are following up but I dont think they actually are, so I was thinking to send an email. The other thing is that they are already annoyed with their circumstances (HENCE THE STRIKES), I can just imagine that they will get annoyed with all the migrants, who are getting jobs in their country and they are being retrenched!, are now asking how much longer? But on the other hand I think, okay give them another week. But this has been more than 9 months now, seriously HOW MUCH LONGER?
  17. Look at this article, it will definitely delay visa processing as well http://www.australiaforum.com/information/immigration/australian-immigration-services-facing-further-delays.html
  18. From what I understand it goes through various internal and sometimes external checks which can take time. What does get me is that that you submitted docs on the 24th of August but only got a CO again on 20 September??? Can this be right?
  19. I have noticed that with previous strikes they mentioned visa processing centres as well but in this post they didnt. So I am really really hoping that this does not cause further delays.
  20. Got this on the 186 Forum http://www.border.gov.au/about/corporate/pia SERIOUSLY!? 2 week strike or please tell me that I am reading this wrong, please please please!:arghh:
  21. It could it you get a straight grant. Otherwise if they ask for more documentation it would change to "Information requested" Once docs supplied, it would change to "assessment in progress" until they reach a decision.
  22. That is just so unfair. What does the agent have to say about this?? Did Immi request this document or just straight refusal?
