Every application is totally different and we don't know the process behind the scenes - there must be a reason for the differences in allocation times. I was told that they are just going to keep getting longer and more expensive as years go on [emoji22]

I was excited to see that too but then came on here and realised it wasn't correct [emoji22][emoji30] thankfully I am not in a rush and happily living in the UK with my husband and our 2 beautiful baby girls. I just want 'my mummy' now to help me with them! so after 10 years here it's time to go home and take my South African (but British citizen) to his new home (with all the cost and waiting involved in the process tho!). P.S I love this forum - helped put my mind at ease so many times already and I am only right at the beginning of it all!

Roughly how long did it take people to get assigned a CO? And get info on the dates to do medical and police checks etc. It's been 3 months since we submitted the application online through the immi account. Got a letter/email straight away so it's definitely been submitted. Anyone else apply August? I'm worried there is a massive backlog from all the applications before the price increase in July - so the process is going to take much longer than it is now [emoji22]

Question- has there ever been anyone on here that has applied for the 309, been asked by CO to get police check and medical done and been denied visa (for grounds other than police/medical). Do you get to see results of medical and police check?

That's what I'm wondering Bound4Tassie. Do you have a case officer yet - we don't that's why I asked on here as not sure. We've started filling it in as its on the recommended list of evidence on the immi account as well as the 1221 for my husband (I'm the sponsor).

Hi all, I have a few questions re: 309 visa application if anyone has the time to answer them. Did you all complete the Form 80 (Personal Particulars for Assessment including character assessment) then scan and upload? And same for the Form 1221 (Additional personal particulars information). Also is it easy to get pensions transferred? How do I do that. I'm rubbish when it comes to finances, is there anything I should know/do before moving home to Australia (I've lived here 10 years now). What's the best way to transfer money to Australia when we sell the house? Thanks everyone.

Hi, it's my husband applying for the 309 visa. Submitted the application on 12 August via the immi account. I used the online immi account to apply for our two daughters' Australian citizenship certificates. I've been watching this forum for a couple of weeks now and it's helped loads so thank you everyone.

Thank you snifter. Were people able to get their medical done in the past without a HAP ID because they would barely speak to me without one let alone book an appt.

Hi all, new to this and here's my first post. I phoned to enquire about medical at my closest clinic and was told I couldn't do anything until I was given a HAP ID. I assumed this would be given to me at a later stage (or is it somewhere on the immi account page) Not in a rush, I was just enquiring about cost and days etc with the hospital for the medical. Nice to 'meet' you all.
