A friend of mine got ceremony date 04 July in Craegeburn Hume Council, She appeared in the test on 7th April. Approval 27 April. application 2 January 2017

Perth is fast than Melbourne.May be from next week they start sending emails as it will be 8 weeks. Some of members got test email after 3 months

I called them twice, they said they can't accelerate application by calls. Wait 4 upto 10 to 12 months from application to ceremony. That is service standard now

New system they are making citizenship tests etc so might take some time

Some of councils in WA are really fast. I think it depends on officers and number of applicants. DIBP had downsized lately. Not much employee available for the processing.
