Due to high levels of demand, some occupations will be subject to pro rata arrangements to ensure availability of invitations across the programme year; Mechanical Engineer occupation is not included in this arrangement; so you can be expected to be invited at 6 or 20 July 2016. When your occupation reaches its quota for subclass 189 and 489 Skilled – Family Sponsored visas (1788); no more invitations will be issued until July 2017.

Hi What conditions are associated with the 186? Actually, no conditions will be imposed on your visa, but in the visa application form, you must declare that you agree to work in the nominated position for at least two years. Does it matter that I have only worked for my employer for 6 months? Is it still possible for them to nominate me? Yes you may be eligible to apply under the Direct Entry stream.

189 visa for medical specialists
Sina replied to NorthernLights's topic in Working and Skilled Visas
Hi For medical doctors, evidence of full registration will enable a suitable skills assessment to be made. The department will accept one of the following certificates issued by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as evidence of full registration: •full/unconditional/general medical registration •conditional specialist registration - this registration allows you to practise only in your particular speciality, with no further training or supervision requirements. Hello, Australian permanent resident means: (a) in relation to an applicant for a Return (Residence) (Class BB) visa or a Resident Return (Temporary) (Class TP) visa — a non-citizen who is the holder of a permanent visa; or (b) in any other case (other than in the case of an applicant for registration as a migration agent under Part 3 of the Act) — a non-citizen who, being usually resident in Australia, is the holder of a permanent visa. Hello Imran, Please see the Occupation Ceiling for Systems Analyst here: http://deltaimmigration.com.au/Systems-Analyst/261112.htm This figure MAY increase from 1st July 2016; Moreover, on July 2015 SA offered sponsorship for the System Analyst occupation; your occupation may be included in the State Nominated Occupation List (SNOL) in July 2016; If that would be the case, Some applicants would prefer to apply for SA sponsorship. Furthermore, current pass mark will encourage IT experts to try their luck in other occupations. But as George said, you may never be invited.

Hello, In my view, it would be unlikely that you would be invited to apply for a subclass 189 visa in the current fiscal year.
