  6. Thank you. I have bought an IELTS book, which arrived yesterday, looks daunting! I'm hoping to be prepared and only have to sit it once...fingers and everything else crossed. I can see you've just submitted your EOI, good luck on getting invited soon. I can't wait until I am at your stage

  8. Hi. I have booked my Ielts test for 19th March. I know I need at least 7's in every section to meet my skills assessment criteria for ANMAC however I need 8's to have enough points overall for 189 visa. Does this mean, for points, I need to get 8's or more in each section or an overall score of 8? Thanks.
  9. Thank you. Not looking forward to the stress of it but we have just returned from 2 weeks in Australia so I know the stress will definitely be worth it in the end!
  10. Hi. I hope you guys don't mind me asking, you all seem supportive of each other. I am just starting out with applying for 189, I have just booked my Ielts for 19th March and I am getting my documents ready for Anmac. I am confused though about applying for Ahpra. We were looking to end up coming to Australia next summer (2017) due to my son's schooling. Is it too early to apply for Ahpra? I had read somewhere that you need to present yourself at an Ahpra office or something within one year of Ahpra registration being confirmed. Is this true? There is lots of conflicting info everywere and im already feeling stressed, had some tears ( ha ha) Thanks x

    Help needed

Thanks for all your lovely replies. As long as the option is there for him to come to Australia once he has finished university then that is excellent news for us

    Help needed

Hi. Can anyone help. We are looking to start the visa process. I have 2 children aged 13 and 16. My 16 year son isn't sure whether he wants to move to Australia but knows he definitely wants to finish his A levels and go to university in the UK (he is due to sit GCSE's this May). He said he will look to move to Australia once he has finished university. Does anyone know how this will affect his visa ?( if we get one). We are planning on applying for 189 and I want to include him in this and he will travel to Australia to validate the visa. Will he be able to just come back permanently to Australia after University? this will just be within the 5 years and the plan will be for him to visit us during each summer break during university so he will be living partly in Australia. Would he be able to stay permanently with us under the 189 visa or would he need a different visa, ? Resident return visa. Sorry for rambling. Thanks.
