  1. Ha. Descent is exactly what I meant. The VISA is for those children of Australian Citizens born overseas.
  2. I need to get statements done for my son's citizen by default VISA and some for my wife's spouse VISA. Anyone have a clue as the main criteria for inclusion within the statement? I don't see much indication on the Immigration websites. Any guidance is appreciated. MAP
  3. Thanks all. Guess I'll pay the higher costs onshore.
  4. Hi All, (first time poster here) I am a British / Australian dual national intending to move to WA mid 2015. I can go whenever I want, but my wife will need to apply for, I believe, subclass 309/100. Am I better off applying for this before I move back to Australia or am I okay to turn up without the full VISA having been confirmed. Would gruff looking men frown at me in the immigration queue at the airport? NB: We've been married over 13 years and it should really just be a formality. Also, can anyone confirm whether my son, born in England, will have automatic Australian nationality under the validity of my nationality? Would he have to sign up under subclass 101? Bless you in advance for your answers. Mad Aunty Peter
  5. I am an Australian British dual national intending to move to WA later this year. Can anyone confirm if I will face problems if I knowingly intend to immigrate to Australia with my wife who is a British without having applied for a VISA prior to arrival? I have time to apply, but I wonder if it is sensible to apply first and travel with permission rather than arrive first? Any opinions welcome.
