  1. Small update, I applied for my eVisitor Visa. It says it may take over a day to be granted, I can't wait that long!
  2. Uploaded my Police Certificate last night - everything is finally done! Just have to wait now. Funnily enough, I got a call from my CO yesterday afternoon doing a check up on where I was at (he's OH, seems really nice and friendly) so I took the chance to double check a few things. He said I'm OK to apply for a Tourist Visa, although obviously have to be out of Aus to get my PR granted, and as I have dates of when I'll be arriving in Aus to give him a shout when I'm about to go as he may be able to assist in getting my visa granted in time so I won't have to leave the country a week after I get there or something silly like that. Not bad! So yeah, just the wait now...
  3. I had been replying to the original email if I wanted to speak to my CO, which was great. Then I emailed to confirm my medical and someone else replied (they were covering for my CO or something) and told me to use the online form from now on. I did that the other day and haven't heard a word yet. Try your original email, just in case.
  4. Just wondering Bronyaur, is the eVisitor visa you have the subclass 651?
  5. That sounds good, I'd hope that would be the case. I'm going to speak to my CO (OH) to check everything first. Good luck!
  6. Me too! I'm considering this but haven't sorted out the evisitor visa yet. Do you think it's worth doing now or waiting to see? I'm scared of applying for it and it wiping over my 309/100 or something.
  7. Very strange, where is the Get Health Details button? It says my application was updated 13th May so it could be there but I can't see it for some reason!
  8. Not there either! Had a look, still just the bit where you print off the letter for the medical. I'm submitting my police check soon so I'll try and confirm if they got my medical too.
  9. I just logged in and couldn't see any mention of my medical so not sure if it takes ages to appear or just doesn't at all
  10. I was in and out in less than an hour. Just the usual stuff, x-ray, blood, little mallet on the knees to see if they react! They ask a few questions about your health then you're out.
  11. Got my medical sorted last week! They said if I didn't hear from them by the end of the week everything was probably OK, and I haven't heard Just the Police check to go now!
  12. Yeah I'm booked in with them too (3 weeks to go!) and assumed I would be paying over the phone, but they didn't take my details and said I would pay at the end of the medical. I'm not too worried.
  13. I hope this means the processing time has been shortened in some way. They couldn't grant visas to people who are now being told 9-12 months before those who were told 10-14 months, that would be a bit unfair surely? I mean, I applied in November, so someone who applied in Feb would get theirs at the same time as me? Weird! Hopefully we'll find out soon.
  14. I think they've stopped giving their own emails out. I found by replying to my initial email (with all the info docs attached) and keeping the subject line with your name, etc it should get through to them. I've emailed mine a couple of times and he's fairly prompt.
  15. I don't think I could wait until December! I'll probably sort out a tourist visa or something first, just in case. My fiancée is from Northern NSW so anywhere from there up to the Gold Coast probably. You?
  16. I was at the the start of November, I'm crossing my fingers it comes in before October as that's when we're wanting to go to Aus.
  17. I was quoted 10-14 months which isn't really much help! I'm hoping for 11 months at the very most (when we're planning on going) but we'll have to wait and see. I think the wait is 9ish months at the moment but last August I believe they bumped the estimate up from 8-9 to this 10-14 months one.
  18. After the start of May, which is lucky as I'll be in the UK around then so I should be able to get it all sorted.
  19. OH is mine too, he's been really helpful so far. Glad we've managed to get to the bottom of this, although it sucks that that's the case. The time we're looking at going to Aus is about the same time my visa should be granted, so I'm hoping I don't have to go to NZ a week after I get to Aus or something!
  20. I see what you're saying, that it may only apply to people who have spent 2 years on the 309. I looked around but couldn't find anything specific so dropped my CO an email. Hopefully they can clear it up as it would be good to know. UPDATE - OK, I heard back from my CO, basically you still have to be out of the country even if you've been put forward for the 100. Here's the full reply: To clarify, all applications for partner migration made outside Australia are for a subclass 309/100 visa, which is a two stage visa. If an eligible person meets the conditions for the 100 visa as well as the 309 visa at the time of lodgement then DIBP will usually grant both visas concurrently. However a 309 visa must always be granted first even if the 100 visa is granted directly afterwards. As such you will need to be offshore when I grant your partner visa. I hope that clears up any ambiguity in the wording on our website.
