  1. Hi DexM, In regards to lodging your application through ImmiAccount, you create or login to your ImmiAccount and complete - Migration to Australia by a Partner (300) first. You will receive a transaction reference number (TRN). Then, your fiance creates or logs in to her ImmiAccount and completes - Sponsorship for a Partner to Migrate to Australia (300). She will be prompted to enter in the TRN. The TRN will bring the two forms together online. I recommend that you and your fiance have all your supporting documents organised and ready to attach to your online application in an acceptable format and size prior to starting. It will make the online application process alot quicker and less painful. Good luck with it all. Regards, Ben
  2. Hi DexM, Have you considered lodging your application online? Regards, Ben
  3. Hi Onidz, There are exemptions to the English language requirement if you are applying for a 457 visa under a standard business sponsorship. You might want to contact a registered migration agent to learn more about those exemptions. Good luck with it all. Regards, Ben
  4. Hi Lee, I'm sorry to hear about your predicament. Did the migration agent you went to see advise you that you could apply for a 186 visa under the TRT stream while not holding a 457 visa?
  5. Hi Dawn and Graeme, Keep in mind that if you are interested in a subclass 189 visa, you must first lodge an 'Expression of Interest (EOI)' through 'SkillSelect' and then be invited by the Australian government to lodge an application. An EOI is not a visa application, it is an indication that you would like to be considered for a skilled visa. It is important to remember that meeting the points test mark does not guarantee an invitation to apply. Read 'Booklet 11 - SkillSelect' for more information about the process. You might want to speak to a registered migration agent for some specific advice. Regards, Ben.
  6. Hi Dawn and Graeme, Whether your current employer can nominate you for a 187 visa will depend on a number of factors. What is the location of your employment? How long have you been employed by them? What is your occupation?
  7. Hi Arq, Unfortunately, it is hard to say when and if your 489 visa will be granted. Processing times seem so variable at the moment. Good luck with it all. Regards, Ben.
  8. Hi Alana, If your partner is going to post his application there is some useful information on the Australian High Commission UK's website. There is a section on visas and migration. There is a link you can click on to find out about partner visas. There are further links to the required forms, current application charges and a postal address. You will have to provide a substantial amount of information that covers a number of key areas to satisfy the decision maker that you and your partner are in a de facto relationship. Regards, Ben.
  9. Hi Adebisisaye, The potential for a visa refusal based on a prior criminal conviction is a very complex matter. You might want to seek some specific advice from a registered migration agent. Good luck. Regards, Ben.
  10. Hi Arq, Documents can only be attached to applications with a status of "In Progress". You are advised to wait until your application is allocated to a case officer, who will ask you to provide any missing documents. Good luck. Regards, Ben.
  11. Hi Bean, You might want to consider getting some specific advice from a registered migration agent. Regards, Ben.
  12. Hi Nish, This shouldn't throw up any issues on your visa application. I have often used VEVO to check whether a visa has been granted prior to receiving the visa grant notice. Good luck with your application. Regards, Ben.
  13. Hi Pete, The document checklist for a Partner visa on the DIBP website outlines a range of documents that you could include in your application to satisfy the decision maker that you are in a de facto relationship with your partner. Good luck with the application. Regards, Ben.
